4. Installation
4.1 Speaker Installation
The JX01 features an 8mm thin speaker designed for comfortable fit in various helmet models, reducing pressure during long-term wear.

- Attach the speakers inside your helmet using the provided speaker fixing adhesive tapes. Ensure they are positioned comfortably over your ears.

4.2 Intercom Unit Mounting
- Choose a suitable location on the side of your helmet for the intercom unit.
- Attach the mounting bracket using the provided mounting adhesive tape (white or red, as appropriate).
- Slide the JX01 intercom main unit onto the mounted bracket until it clicks securely into place.
5. Operation
5.1 Power On/Off and Pairing
- Power On: Press and hold the power button until the indicator light illuminates.
- Power Off: Press and hold the power button until the indicator light turns off.
- Bluetooth Pairing: Activate Bluetooth on your smartphone. The JX01 will appear as a discoverable device. Select it to pair.
5.2 App Control
Download the dedicated J-TREK app from the Apple App Store or Google Play for intuitive control and advanced features.

9. Troubleshooting
9.1 No Power

9.2 Cannot Pair with Phone/Other Intercoms
- Ensure the JX01 is in pairing mode (indicator light flashing).
- Check that Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone or the other intercom.
- Move the devices closer to each other to ensure they are within range.
- If connecting to another brand's intercom, remember only one unit from another brand can be connected at a time.
- Some older Bluetooth devices (below 5.0 protocol) may not be compatible.
9.3 Poor Audio Quality / Wind Noise
- Ensure the microphone is positioned correctly to minimize wind exposure.
- Check that the speakers are properly aligned with your ears inside the helmet.
- Adjust the volume settings via the device buttons or the dedicated app.
- The JX01 features advanced noise cancellation; however, extreme wind conditions may still affect clarity.
9.4 Intercom Disconnects Frequently
- Ensure all connected intercoms are within the 1500m communication range.
- Obstacles like buildings or dense terrain can reduce communication range.
- The JX01 has an automatic reconnection feature; if disconnected, it should re-establish connection quickly.
