5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
The rangefinder comes with a pre-installed 12V battery. If replacement is needed:
- Locate the battery compartment cover, usually on the side or bottom of the device.
- Open the cover by twisting or sliding it according to the markings.
- Insert a new 12V battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
The device uses a rechargeable battery and includes a Type-C charging cable. Connect the cable to the device's charging port and a suitable USB power source to recharge the battery.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off

6.4 Multi-Mode Operation
The REVASRI rangefinder offers several specialized modes:
- Straight-Line Distance Mode: Measures the direct distance from the rangefinder to the target.
- Horizontal Distance Mode: Calculates the horizontal distance to the target, compensating for elevation changes.
- Vertical Distance Mode: Measures the vertical distance (height) to the target.
- Angle Measurement Mode: Displays the angle of inclination to the target. This mode often includes slope compensation to provide a 'true' horizontal distance for ballistic calculations.
- Speed Mode: Measures the speed of a moving target. Aim at the moving object and press the measurement button.
- Two-Point Height Measurement Mode: Allows you to measure the height of an object by taking two measurements: one to the base and one to the top of the object.
- Nearest/Farthest Target Measurement: In some modes, the device can identify the nearest or farthest object within a group, useful in cluttered environments.
