Setup
1. Adjusting Eyecups
The binoculars feature quick-adjust eyecups to accommodate users with or without eyeglasses. Rotate the eyecups up for use without glasses and down for use with glasses to achieve the full field of view.
2. Adjusting Interpupillary Distance
Hold the binoculars with both hands and look through them. Adjust the distance between the two barrels by folding them inward or outward until you see a single, clear circular image. This ensures proper alignment with your eyes.
3. Focusing
- Close your right eye and look through the left eyepiece. Rotate the central focus wheel until the image appears sharp and clear.
- Close your left eye and look through the right eyepiece. Rotate the right diopter ring (located on the right eyepiece) until the image appears sharp and clear.
- With both eyes open, use the central focus wheel to focus on objects at varying distances. The diopter setting should only need to be adjusted once for your eyes.
4. Attaching the Neck Strap
Thread the neck strap through the strap loops on each side of the binoculars. Adjust the length for comfortable carrying around your neck.
5. Tripod Mounting
The binoculars are tripod-compatible for stable, extended viewing. To attach to a tripod, locate the small cap on the front hinge of the binoculars. Unscrew and remove this cap to reveal the standard tripod mounting thread. Attach the provided tripod adapter to this thread, then secure the adapter to your tripod.

Operating Your Binoculars
Once set up, your binoculars are ready for use. Hold them steady and bring them to your eyes. Use the central focus wheel to adjust for clarity. For optimal viewing, especially during prolonged sessions, consider using a tripod to minimize hand shake and provide a stable image.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Lenses
Use the provided lens cleaning cloth to gently wipe away dust or smudges from the objective and eyepiece lenses. For stubborn dirt, use a lens cleaning solution specifically designed for optics and a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid using abrasive materials or excessive force, as this can scratch the lens coatings.
Storage
When not in use, store your binoculars in the provided carry bag to protect them from dust, dirt, and minor impacts. Ensure all lens caps are in place. Store in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Water Resistance
The binoculars feature rubber armor that resists dust and moisture. However, they are not recommended for submersion or heavy rain exposure. Avoid exposing them to water beyond light splashes.
Troubleshooting
- Blurred Image: Ensure the central focus wheel and right diopter ring are properly adjusted for your vision. Check that the eyecups are set correctly for whether you are wearing glasses.
- Double Image: Adjust the interpupillary distance by folding the barrels inward or outward until a single, clear circular image is visible.
- Dim Image: Ensure objective lens caps are removed. Check for dirt or smudges on the lenses and clean them gently with the provided cloth.
- Difficulty with Tripod Mount: Ensure the small cap on the front hinge is fully removed before attempting to attach the tripod adapter.
