Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Press the ON/OFF button on the control panel to turn on the ice maker. The indicator light will illuminate.
  2. Ice Production: The ice maker will automatically begin the ice-making cycle. The first batch of nugget ice typically takes about 6 minutes. Subsequent batches may be faster.
  3. Monitoring Ice: The ICE FULL indicator will light up when the ice basket is full, and the machine will pause ice production. Once ice is removed, production will resume automatically.
  4. Adding Water: If the water reservoir is low, the ADD WATER indicator will light up. Refill the reservoir with potable water, and the ice maker will resume operation.
  5. Interior Light: Press the LIGHT button to turn the interior light on or off, allowing you to view the ice production.
  6. Power Off: Press the ON/OFF button again to turn off the ice maker.

Maintenance

Self-Cleaning Function

  1. Ensure the water reservoir is filled with clean water.
  2. Press and hold the CLEAN button for 3 seconds to activate the self-cleaning cycle.
  3. The cleaning cycle will run for approximately 20 minutes. Do not interrupt the cycle.
  4. Once the cycle is complete, drain the water from the unit as described in the 'Draining Water' section below.

Regular Cleaning

  • Exterior: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Ice Basket & Scoop: Remove the ice basket and scoop. Wash them with mild soap and warm water, then rinse thoroughly and dry before returning to the unit.
  • Interior: For a more thorough cleaning beyond the self-cleaning cycle, unplug the unit and manually clean the water reservoir and ice-making components with a soft cloth and a solution of water and white vinegar (10:1 ratio). Rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Draining Water

To drain water from the unit, place a container under the drain plug located at the bottom of the ice maker. Remove the drain plug to allow water to flow out. Once drained, securely replace the plug.
