4. Setup
4.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the coffee maker. Connect the USB-C cable to the charging port on the device and to a compatible power source (e.g., wall adapter, power bank, car charger). The LCD display will indicate charging status.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Control Panel and LCD Display
The coffee maker features a simple control panel with an LCD display for easy operation.
- Power Button: Press and hold to turn on/off.
- Heat/Hot Extraction Button (Wavy icon): Initiates heating of cold water and then extraction.
- Cold/Direct Extraction Button (Snowflake icon): Initiates extraction using pre-heated water or for cold brew.

5.2 Brewing with Ground Coffee
- Unscrew the bottom coffee cup and the ground coffee basket.
- Fill the ground coffee basket with your desired amount of fine ground coffee (up to 12g). Tamp lightly if desired.
- Screw the ground coffee basket back onto the main unit.
- Fill the water tank with water. For hot coffee, use cold water for self-heating or hot water for direct brew.
- Screw the coffee cup back onto the bottom of the unit.
- Place the coffee maker on a stable surface.
- Press the appropriate button for hot or cold extraction.
5.3 Brewing with NS Capsules
- Unscrew the bottom coffee cup and insert the NS capsule adapter.
- Place an NS capsule into the adapter.
- Screw the capsule adapter firmly onto the main unit.
- Fill the water tank with water. For hot coffee, use cold water for self-heating or hot water for direct brew.
- Screw the coffee cup back onto the bottom of the unit.
- Place the coffee maker on a stable surface.
- Press the appropriate button for hot or cold extraction.

5.4 Hot Water Brew (Self-Heating)
When using cold water, the coffee maker can heat the water to the optimal brewing temperature (approx. 198°F / 92°C) in about 200 seconds before extraction. This mode is activated by pressing the Heat/Hot Extraction button (wavy icon) when cold water is in the tank.

5.5 Direct Brew (Using Pre-heated Water)
If you are using pre-heated hot water, simply fill the water tank with hot water and press the Cold/Direct Extraction button (snowflake icon) to initiate immediate extraction without additional heating.
5.6 Charging the Device
The AMZCHEF Portable Coffee Maker is equipped with a 9000mAh battery. To charge, connect the USB-C cable to the charging port. The device can be charged via a wall adapter, power bank, or car charger, making it versatile for various environments.
