Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit does not power on. | Dead batteries; incorrect battery installation; no USB power. | Replace batteries with new ones, ensuring correct polarity. Connect to a reliable USB power source. |
| No audio recorded. | Input levels too low; tracks not armed; microphone not connected; SD card full or not inserted. | Increase gain levels. Ensure desired tracks are armed (buttons illuminated). Check microphone connection. Insert or replace SD card. |
| Distorted audio. | Input levels too high (though 32-bit float minimizes this, extreme levels can still cause issues); faulty cable/microphone. | Reduce input gain. Test with different cables or microphones. |
| SD card error. | Incompatible card; corrupted card; card not formatted. | Use a compatible SD/SDHC/SDXC card. Format the card using the H6studio's menu (this will erase all data). Try a different SD card. |
