6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Tineco FLOOR ONE S6 Stretch Steam.
- One-Touch Self-Cleaning: After each use, place the appliance on its storage base. Press the self-clean button to initiate the automatic cleaning cycle. This process uses steam and heated water to clean the brush roller and then air-dries it.
- Cleaning the Dirty Water Tank: After each use, empty the dirty water tank and rinse it thoroughly with clean water. Allow it to air dry before reattaching.
- Cleaning the Brush Roller: Even with self-cleaning, periodically remove the brush roller for manual inspection and cleaning. Remove any tangled hair or debris. The DualBlock Anti-Tangle Design minimizes this, but occasional manual cleaning is recommended.
- Cleaning the Filter: Remove and rinse the dry filter regularly. Allow it to dry completely before reinserting. Replace the filter every 3-6 months, or as needed.
- Storage: Store the appliance in a dry, safe place. Ensure both water tanks are empty and clean before storing for extended periods.
