4. Setup

Follow these steps for quick and easy assembly of your SuperEye Horizon X6 Metal Detector:

  1. Assemble the Stem: Insert the plastic stem of the search coil into the lower stem, and tighten the screw by hand.
  2. Connect Stems: Insert the lower stem into the main unit and secure it with the lock nut.
  3. Attach Handle and Armrest: Attach the handle bracket to the lower end of the upper stem and lock it with the lock nut.
  4. Install Battery: Open the battery compartment on the handle. Insert one 9V alkaline battery, ensuring positive and negative poles are correctly matched. Close the battery compartment.
  5. Connect Coil Cable: Neatly wrap the coil cable around the stem. Firmly plug the connector into the socket at the bottom of the control box.

Waterproof Search Coil

The 10-inch search coil is IP68 waterproof, allowing for detection in shallow water areas like beaches, rivers, and streams. Note: The control box is NOT waterproof and must be kept dry. When used in seawater, lower the sensitivity to minimize interference.
