3. Package Contents

4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation

1. Open the battery cover located on the underside of the mouse.
2. Insert one AA battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
3. Close the battery cover securely.

4.2. 2.4GHz Wireless Connection

1. Remove the USB receiver from its storage slot on the underside of the mouse.

2. Insert the USB receiver into an available USB-A port on your computer.
3. Turn on the mouse using the power switch on the underside.
4. Set the connection switch on the top of the mouse to the 2.4GHz wireless mode (indicated by a USB icon).
5. The mouse should automatically connect to your computer.

4.3. Bluetooth Connection

1. Turn on the mouse using the power switch on the underside.
2. Set the connection switch on the top of the mouse to the Bluetooth mode (indicated by a Bluetooth icon).
3. Press and hold the PAIRING button on the underside of the mouse for approximately 3 seconds until the LED indicator starts flashing. This indicates pairing mode.
4. On your device (computer, tablet, smartphone), go to Bluetooth settings and search for new devices.
5. Select "ELECOM OSMOD Seven 7" from the list of available devices to complete the pairing process.

4.4. Multi-pairing Function

The mouse supports multi-pairing, allowing you to connect to one device via 2.4GHz wireless and another via Bluetooth. Use the connection switch on the top of the mouse to easily switch between the two paired devices.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Button Functions

The OSMOD Seven 7 mouse features 7 buttons for enhanced control:

• Left Button: Standard click function.
• Right Button: Standard right-click function.
• Scroll Wheel: Scrolls vertically. Pressing it acts as a middle click.
• Tilt Wheel (Left/Right): Tilting the scroll wheel left or right enables horizontal scrolling.
• Forward Button: Navigates forward in web browsers or file explorers.
• Back Button: Navigates backward in web browsers or file explorers.
• DPI Button: Located on the underside, cycles through 1000, 1500, and 2000 DPI settings.

5.2. DPI Adjustment

To adjust the cursor sensitivity (DPI), press the DPI button located on the underside of the mouse. Each press cycles through the available settings: 1000 DPI (Low), 1500 DPI (Mid), and 2000 DPI (High). Select the sensitivity that best suits your task and screen resolution.

5.3. Elecom Mouse Assistant Software

For advanced customization of button functions, download and install the "Elecom Mouse Assistant" software from the official Elecom website. This software is compatible with Windows and macOS operating systems. It allows you to assign frequently used functions to any of the 7 buttons, enhancing your workflow efficiency.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the mouse surface. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a mild cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
