Maintenance

  • Keep the camera lens clean using a soft, lint-free cloth.
  • Avoid exposing the camera to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for extended periods.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble the camera, as this will void the warranty.
  • Ensure the USB port cover is securely closed when not charging or transferring data to protect against dust and moisture.

Troubleshooting

Camera is frozen or unresponsive:

If the camera becomes unresponsive, try performing a soft reset. Locate the reset pinhole (if available, refer to the device diagram) or hold down the power button for 10-15 seconds to force a shutdown. If the issue persists, ensure the battery is charged.

Cannot record or save files:

Check if the Micro SD card is properly inserted and has sufficient free space. If the card is full, transfer files to a computer and format the card (this will erase all data on the card). Ensure the card is not write-protected.

Poor video/audio quality:

Ensure the lens is clean and free from smudges. Check recording settings to confirm desired resolution and quality. For night vision, ensure IR lights are enabled in low-light environments.
