3. Product Overview

The Nillkin Foldable Bluetooth Keyboard features a full 105-key layout with 16mm keycaps, a multi-touch gesture-enabled touchpad, and a dedicated number pad. Its ultra-thin, no-tilt design folds compactly for portability.

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Keyboard

Before initial use, fully charge the keyboard using the provided USB Type-C cable. Connect the Type-C end to the keyboard's charging port and the USB-A end to a power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter). The charging indicator light will show charging status.

4.2 Unfolding the Keyboard

The keyboard features a simple folding mechanism. Gently unfold the keyboard until it lies flat. No locks are required; the aluminum alloy hinge ensures stable performance.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

The keyboard automatically powers on when unfolded and powers off when folded. Ensure the keyboard is fully unfolded for operation.

5.2 Bluetooth Pairing

The keyboard supports connection to up to three devices simultaneously.

1. Turn on the folded keyboard by unfolding it.
2. Press FN + BT1, FN + BT2, or FN + BT3 to select a Bluetooth channel. The corresponding Bluetooth indicator will blink.
3. Press FN + C to enter pairing mode. The indicator will blink rapidly.
4. On your target device (iPad, smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for 'Nillkin Cube Keyboard' (or similar).
5. Select the keyboard from the list to connect. The indicator will stop blinking once paired.

5.3 Multi-Device Switching

Once paired with multiple devices, you can switch between them by pressing FN + BT1, FN + BT2, or FN + BT3.

5.4 Using the Touchpad

The integrated touchpad supports multi-touch gestures for navigation, clicking, and scrolling. Refer to your device's operating system settings for customizable scroll direction and other touchpad preferences.

Note for iPad users: To enable full touchpad functionality, you must enable "AssistiveTouch" in your iPad settings. Some gestures may be app-dependent.

The touchpad can also function as a numeric keypad. To switch between touchpad and numeric keypad modes, press Fn + Command.

The Nillkin Foldable Bluetooth Keyboard is compatible with Windows, macOS, Chrome OS, iPadOS, and Android devices. It is not compatible with iOS ≤13.4 or Android ≤3.0.

7. Troubleshooting

• Keyboard not pairing: Ensure the keyboard is charged, in pairing mode (FN + C), and within Bluetooth range (up to 33ft). Check your device's Bluetooth settings to ensure it's enabled and discoverable.
• Touchpad not working on iPad: Verify that "AssistiveTouch" is enabled in your iPad's accessibility settings. Also, check if "Tap to Click" is enabled under Trackpad settings.
• Keys not responding: Check the battery level. If low, recharge the keyboard. Ensure the keyboard is fully unfolded and properly connected via Bluetooth.
• Intermittent connection: Move closer to your device and ensure there are no obstructions interfering with the Bluetooth signal. Disconnect and re-pair the keyboard if issues persist.
