4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

  1. Before first use, fully charge the robotic pool cleaner. Connect the charging adapter to the cleaner and a power outlet.
  2. The battery indicator lights on the control dial will show charging progress. A full charge typically takes 3-4 hours.
  3. Once fully charged, disconnect the cleaner from the charger.

4.2 Placing the Cleaner in the Pool

  1. Ensure the pool cleaner is completely submerged in water before activating.
  2. Gently lower the cleaner into the pool. It will sink to the bottom.
  3. Allow any trapped air to escape from the cleaner. This may take a few moments.

5.1 Selecting a Cleaning Mode

The AIPER Seagull Pro ZT6002 offers three distinct cleaning modes:

  • Automatic Mode: The cleaner will intelligently map and clean the pool floor, walls, and waterline. This is the recommended mode for comprehensive cleaning.
  • Floor Only Mode: The cleaner will focus solely on cleaning the pool floor.
  • Wall Only Mode: The cleaner will primarily clean the pool walls and waterline.

To select a mode, rotate the intuitive control dial on top of the unit to your desired setting. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.

5.2 Starting Operation

  1. After selecting the desired mode, press the power button on the control dial to start the cleaning cycle.
  2. The cleaner will begin its programmed cleaning routine.
  3. The battery indicator lights will show the remaining battery status in real-time (Green: >90%, Blue: 50-89%, Yellow: 10-49%, Red: <9%).

5.3 Retrieving the Cleaner

Once the cleaning cycle is complete or the battery is low, the cleaner will typically park itself near a wall. Use the provided retrieval hook to safely lift the cleaner out of the water. Allow excess water to drain before removing it completely from the pool.
