1. Introduction

This device combines a vibrant 2.8-inch IPS full-color screen, precise temperature and humidity monitoring, a 7-day programmable alarm system, and a soothing white noise sound machine. 2.1 Components

• 2.8-inch IPS Display: Full-color screen for time, date, weather, and animations.
• Control Dial/Button: Located on top, used for navigation, selection, and adjustments (twist to scroll, press to confirm).
• USB-C Power Port: Located at the back for connecting the power adapter.
• Temperature/Humidity Sensor: Integrated for environmental monitoring.

3. Setup

3.1 Powering On

1. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the power port on the back of the alarm clock.
2. Plug the other end of the USB-C cable into a compatible USB power adapter (not included) and then into a wall outlet.
3. The device will power on automatically and display the initial setup screen.

3.2 Initial Configuration

Upon first power-on, the clock will guide you through essential settings. Use the control dial to navigate and confirm.

3. Insert one CR2 battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Navigation

The alarm clock is primarily controlled using the single dial/button on top:

• Twist the Dial: To scroll through menus, adjust values (e.g., time, volume, brightness).
• Press the Dial: To confirm a selection, enter a menu, or activate/deactivate a function.
• Long Press the Dial: May access specific shortcuts or power options depending on the context.

4.2 Setting Alarms

The ChronoSense features a 7-day programmable alarm system with up to 4 customizable alarms.

1. From the main screen, press the dial to enter the main menu.
2. Twist the dial to navigate to 'Alarms' and press to select.
3. Select an alarm slot (e.g., Alarm 1, Alarm 2) to configure.
4. Set Time: Adjust the desired wake-up time.
5. Set Days: Choose specific days (e.g., Mon-Fri, Sat-Sun, or individual days) for the alarm to be active.
6. Alarm Tone: Select from various tones.
7. Volume: Adjust the alarm volume up to 98dB.
8. Gradual Wake-up: Enable this option for a gentle rise, where the alarm volume gradually increases over 30 minutes.
9. Confirm settings to save the alarm.

4.3 Snooze Function

When an alarm sounds, tap the top control dial to activate the snooze function. The alarm will pause for 9 minutes and then sound again. You can repeat this process multiple times.

4.4 Sleep Aid & Sound Machine

The ChronoSense offers 10 calming sleep sounds and mesmerizing animations to help you relax and fall asleep.

1. From the main menu, navigate to 'Sleep Aid' or 'Sound Machine'.
2. Select from options like White Noise, Rainforest, Tibetan bowls, Ocean, Piano, etc.
3. Choose a duration for the soundscape (e.g., 60 minutes, 120 minutes, or all night).
4. The screen will display synchronized animations and automatically dim to a night-friendly brightness.

4.5 Display Customization

Personalize your clock's appearance and display settings.

• Clock Themes: Access 'Themes' from the main menu to choose from 7 playful animations (e.g., Ninja, Spaceman, Knight, Bouncing Sunbeams, Van Gogh’s Starry Night).
• Brightness: The screen auto-dims based on ambient light. You can also manually adjust brightness levels from the 'Display Settings' menu.
• Time/Date Format: Change between 12H/24H time and different date display formats.
• Temperature Unit: Switch between °F and °C as needed.

4.6 Hourly Chime

The hourly chime feature provides an audible notification at the top of each hour.

1. From the main menu, navigate to 'Hourly Chime'.
2. Toggle the chime ON or OFF.
3. You can also set 'Quiet Time' periods during which the hourly chime will be suppressed (e.g., during sleep hours).

4.7 Temperature and Humidity Display

The built-in precision thermometer and hygrometer continuously monitor your room's environment, displaying real-time temperature and humidity readings on the main screen. This helps you optimize your sleep environment.

5.1 Cleaning

To clean your Dekala ChronoSense Alarm Clock:

• Ensure the device is unplugged from the power source.
• Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the screen and exterior surfaces.
• For stubborn marks, slightly dampen the cloth with water. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or sprays directly on the device.

5.2 Backup Battery Replacement

If the clock loses its settings after a power outage, the CR2 backup battery may need replacement.

1. Unplug the alarm clock from the power source.
2. Locate and open the battery compartment.
3. Remove the old CR2 battery.
4. Insert a new CR2 battery, observing correct polarity.
5. Close the compartment cover.
6. Reconnect the power.
