5. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for a safe and enjoyable ride.
- Power On: Press and hold the power button on the handlebar display for 2 seconds to turn on the scooter. The LED dashboard will illuminate.
- Select Speed Mode: Double-tap the power button to cycle through the three speed modes: 3 MPH (Beginner), 6 MPH (Intermediate), and 10 MPH (Advanced). Choose a speed appropriate for the rider's experience and environment.
- Kick-Start: The scooter features a kick-start mechanism for safety. Push off with one foot to gain a small amount of momentum (approximately 1.8 MPH).
- Accelerate: Once moving, gently press the thumb throttle control on the right handlebar to engage the motor and accelerate to the selected speed.
- Braking: To slow down or stop, use the hand brake lever on the left handlebar or press down on the rear fender with your foot (foot brake). The dual brake system provides reliable stopping power.
- Power Off: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn off the scooter.
