2. Product Overview

3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all packaging materials and components from the box. Retain packaging for future transport or storage if necessary. Check that all included components are present and undamaged.
3.2 Initial Cleaning
Before first use, wash the water tank, milk tank, portafilter, and filters with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry all parts. Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth.
3.3 Filling the Water Tank
Remove the water tank from the back of the appliance. Fill it with fresh, cold water up to the 'MAX' level indicator. Do not overfill. Place the water tank back into its position, ensuring it is securely seated.

3.4 Connecting Power
Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The coffee maker is now ready for initial priming or use.
4. Operating Instructions
The coffee maker features a touch color screen for intuitive control.

4.1 Powering On/Off
- To power on, touch the ON/OFF icon on the touch screen. The appliance will begin heating up.
- To power off, touch the ON/OFF icon again.
4.2 Making Espresso
- Ensure the water tank is filled.
- Select the desired filter (single or double shot) and place it into the portafilter.
- Add ground coffee to the filter. Use the measuring spoon and tamper to level and lightly compress the coffee.
- Attach the portafilter to the brewing head by inserting it and rotating it to the right until it is firmly locked.
- Place a cup or two cups under the portafilter spouts.
- On the touch screen, select Espresso for a single shot or x2 Espresso for a double shot. The machine will automatically brew the coffee.
4.3 Using the ColdBrew System
The ColdBrew system allows for brewing coffee at different temperatures (cold, temperate, hot).

- Prepare your espresso as described in section 4.2.
- Select the Espresso Cool option on the touch screen for a cold brew extraction.
- Follow on-screen prompts for any additional temperature adjustments if available.
4.4 Making Latte and Cappuccino
The integrated 500ml milk tank and frothing spout are designed for milk-based beverages.

- Fill the milk tank with cold milk. Ensure the frothing spout is correctly positioned.
- Prepare your espresso shot directly into your cup.
- Place the cup with espresso under the milk frothing spout.
- Select the Latte or Cappuccino option on the touch screen (if available, otherwise use the general milk frothing function).
- The machine will automatically froth and dispense milk into your cup.
4.5 Cup Warmer Function
The top surface of the coffee maker acts as a cup warmer to keep your cups at an ideal temperature before serving coffee.

- Place your cups on the metallic surface on top of the appliance.
- The surface will gently heat the cups, helping to maintain the temperature of your brewed coffee.
5. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance ensure optimal performance and longevity of your coffee maker.
5.1 Cleaning the Drip Tray
The drip tray collects excess water and coffee spills. It should be emptied and cleaned regularly.

- Pull out the detachable drip tray from the front of the appliance.
- Empty any collected liquid and wash the tray with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
- Reinsert the drip tray until it clicks into place.
5.2 Cleaning the Milk Tank and Frothing Spout
After each use of the milk frothing function, clean the milk tank and spout to prevent milk residue buildup.
- Remove the milk tank and disassemble its components (lid, frothing spout).
- Wash all parts with warm soapy water and a soft brush to remove milk residue.
- Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry before reassembling.
5.3 Descaling
Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) can build up inside the machine, affecting performance. Descale the appliance regularly using the provided anti-scale tablets or a suitable descaling solution.
- Refer to the specific descaling instructions provided with the anti-scale tablets.
- Generally, this involves dissolving the descaling agent in the water tank and running the solution through the machine.
- Always follow with several cycles of fresh water to rinse the system thoroughly.
6. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your coffee maker.
- No coffee dispenses: Check if the water tank is filled, the portafilter is correctly inserted, and the coffee grounds are not too fine or too heavily tamped.
- Coffee is too weak/strong: Adjust the amount of coffee grounds or the grind size. Ensure the correct espresso setting is selected.
- Milk not frothing properly: Ensure the milk tank is clean and filled with cold milk. Check that the frothing spout is not clogged and is correctly positioned.
- Leaking from the machine: Check that the water tank is properly seated and the drip tray is not overflowing. Ensure the portafilter is securely locked.
- Appliance not turning on: Verify the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet.
