5. Installation and Setup
Important Safety Notice: The receiver must be installed by professionals holding an electrician's license. Improper installation can lead to electrical hazards or damage to the device. Always ensure power is disconnected before beginning any wiring work.
5.1 Wiring the Receiver
The receiver requires a neutral wire for operation. Follow the diagram below for correct wiring. Ensure that the output neutral wire and live wire are not touched together after wiring, as this may cause the receiver to burn out.

Image 5.1: Wiring diagram illustrating the connection of the receiver to the live, neutral, and output lines for a light fixture.
- Disconnect Power: Before starting, turn off the main power supply to the circuit you will be working on at the circuit breaker.
- Identify Wires: Locate the Live (Input), Neutral (Input), and Load (Output) wires for your light fixture.
- Connect Receiver:
- Connect the receiver's input Live wire to the circuit's Live wire.
- Connect the receiver's input Neutral wire to the circuit's Neutral wire.
- Connect the receiver's output Live wire to the light fixture's Live wire.
- Connect the receiver's output Neutral wire to the light fixture's Neutral wire.
- Secure Connections: Ensure all wire connections are secure and properly insulated.
- Mount Receiver: Place the receiver in a suitable location, such as within a junction box or light fixture canopy, ensuring it is not exposed to moisture or excessive heat.
- Restore Power: Once all connections are secure and the receiver is safely housed, restore power at the circuit breaker.
5.2 Mounting the Wireless Switch
The wireless switch can be mounted on any flat surface using adhesive or screws (not included). No wiring is required for the switch itself.

9. Troubleshooting
- Light not responding:
- Ensure the receiver is powered on and correctly wired.
- Check if the remote control switch is within range.
- Re-pair the remote control switch with the receiver following the "Pairing Instructions" in Section 6.
- Verify the remote control battery is not depleted (though it has a long lifespan).
- Receiver not powering on:
- Check the circuit breaker to ensure power is supplied to the circuit.
- Verify all wiring connections are secure and correct. Remember, installation should be done by a licensed electrician.
- Interference: While designed for stable RF, extreme electromagnetic interference might affect performance. Try relocating the receiver or switch if issues persist.
10. Safety Precautions
- Professional Installation: The receiver unit involves electrical wiring and must be installed by a qualified and licensed electrician.
- Electrical Safety: Always disconnect power at the circuit breaker before performing any wiring or maintenance on the receiver.
- Wiring Integrity: After wiring, ensure the output neutral wire and live wire are not in contact, as this can cause severe damage to the receiver.
- Battery Safety: When replacing batteries in the remote control, place the old battery in a safe area and ensure it is out of reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion.
- Environmental Conditions: While the remote switch is IP66 waterproof, avoid submerging it or exposing it to extreme temperatures beyond its operating range.
- Intended Use: Use this product only for its intended purpose of controlling lighting fixtures within the specified electrical load limits.
