- Pre-Ride Inspection: Before each ride, check tire pressure, brake functionality, headlight and taillight operation, and ensure all fasteners are secure.
- Traffic Laws: Obey all local traffic laws, regulations, and signage.
- Visibility: Use the integrated 2000-lumen headlight and high-visibility taillight, especially during low-light conditions. Consider wearing reflective clothing.
- Weight Limit: Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of 150 kg (330 lbs).
- No Impaired Riding: Do not operate the e-bike under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

3. Setup and Assembly
Your Isinwheel U8/U8 Pro Electric Bike comes partially assembled. Follow these steps to complete the assembly:
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging materials for potential future transport or returns.
- Handlebar Installation: Attach the handlebars to the stem, ensuring they are centered and tightened securely. Adjust the angle for comfortable riding.
- Front Wheel Installation: Install the front wheel, ensuring the disc brake rotor is correctly aligned within the caliper. Secure the quick-release skewer or axle nuts firmly.
- Pedal Installation: Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals. The left pedal threads counter-clockwise, and the right pedal threads clockwise. Apply a small amount of grease to the threads and tighten them securely with a wrench.
- Seat Post and Saddle Adjustment: Insert the seat post into the frame. Adjust the saddle height (recommended for riders 5'4" to 6'2") and angle for optimal comfort and pedaling efficiency. Secure the quick-release clamp firmly. The adjustable seat height ranges from 81-100 cm (32-39 inches) from the ground.
- Battery Installation & Initial Charge: The 48V 13/18Ah battery is concealed within the frame. Ensure it is properly seated and locked. Fully charge the battery before your first ride. Connect the charger to the bike's charging port and then to a power outlet. The indicator light on the charger will change when fully charged.
- Pre-Ride Checks: Before your first ride, double-check all connections, brake functionality, tire pressure, and ensure the quick releases for wheels and seat post are tight.

4.2 Riding Modes (4+1 Intelligent Modes)
The U8/U8 Pro offers five distinct riding modes:
- Pedal Mode: Ride like a traditional bicycle without motor assistance.
- Pedal Assist System (PAS) Mode: The motor provides assistance as you pedal. Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the display to adjust the assist level (typically 1-5). Higher levels provide more assistance.
- Pure Electric Mode (Throttle): Use the throttle to engage the motor without pedaling. This mode provides full motor power up to the maximum speed.
- Cruise Control Mode: Engage cruise control for a consistent speed without holding the throttle. Refer to the display manual for specific activation instructions.
- Walking Mode: Provides low-speed motor assistance (e.g., 6 km/h) to help you walk the bike uphill or through crowded areas.
4.3 Gear Shifting
The e-bike is equipped with a 7-speed Shimano transmission system. Use the shifter on the handlebar to change gears, allowing you to adapt to various terrains and optimize pedaling efficiency. Shift gears smoothly and avoid shifting under heavy load.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your e-bike.
- Battery Care:
- Charge the battery fully after each ride, especially if it will be stored for an extended period.
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- If storing for long periods, charge the battery to 50-70% every 1-2 months.
- Avoid completely draining the battery.
- Tires:
- Check tire pressure before each ride. Refer to the tire sidewall for recommended PSI.
- Inspect tires for wear, cuts, or embedded objects. The 20x3.0 inch fat tires are puncture-resistant but regular inspection is still important.
- Brakes:
- Regularly check brake pads for wear and replace them when necessary.
- Ensure brake levers engage smoothly and provide firm stopping power. Adjust cable tension if needed.
- Chain and Drivetrain:
- Keep the chain clean and lubricated to ensure smooth gear changes and prevent premature wear.
- Inspect gears and derailleur for proper alignment and function.
- Fasteners: Periodically check all bolts, nuts, and quick releases for tightness.
- Cleaning: Clean the e-bike with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid using high-pressure washers directly on electrical components.
