3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Unpacking

1. Carefully remove the appliance from its packaging.
2. Remove all packing materials, including any tape or labels.
3. Inspect the unit for any damage. If damaged, do not operate and contact customer support.

3.2 Placement

Choose a suitable location for your water dispenser:

• Place the unit on a hard, level surface capable of supporting its weight when full.
• Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Maintain at least 4 inches (10 cm) of space from walls.
• Avoid direct sunlight or proximity to heat-generating appliances.
• The unit dimensions are approximately 17.7"D x 14.4"W x 44.1"H.

3.3 Water Bottle Installation

1. Open the lower cabinet door of the dispenser.
2. Remove the cap from a new 3 or 5-gallon water bottle.
3. Insert the probe assembly into the water bottle. Ensure the probe is fully submerged.
4. Slide the water bottle into the lower cabinet.
5. Close the cabinet door. The internal pump will begin drawing water into the reservoirs.

3.4 Initial Cleaning and Power Connection

1. Before first use, perform a self-clean cycle (refer to Section 5.1).
2. Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.
3. Allow the unit to sit for at least 15 minutes before dispensing water to allow the water to cool/heat.

4. Operating Instructions

The control panel features touch-sensitive buttons and LED indicators for various functions.

4.1 Water Dispensing (Hot, Cold, Room Temperature)

The unit features a single nozzle for all water temperatures.

1. Place your cup or container on the drip tray beneath the dispensing nozzle.
2. For Cold Water: Press the Cold Water button. Press again to stop dispensing.
3. For Room Temperature Water: Press the Fresh Water button. Press again to stop dispensing.
4. For Hot Water: First, press the Child Lock button to unlock. Then, press the Hot Water button. Press again to stop dispensing. The child lock will re-engage automatically after a short period of inactivity.

4.2 Ice Making

The integrated ice maker produces bullet-shaped ice cubes.

1. Ensure the unit is powered on and has sufficient water in the bottle.
2. The Making Ice indicator on the LED display will illuminate when ice production is active.
3. Ice production typically takes 6-8 minutes per cycle.
4. To dispense ice, place your cup under the ice chute and press the ice dispensing lever/button.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Self-Clean Function

The self-clean function helps maintain the hygiene of the water tanks and lines.

1. Ensure a full water bottle is installed.
2. Refer to the control panel for the specific self-clean activation procedure (usually a dedicated button or a combination of buttons).
3. Follow the on-screen indicators or manual instructions for the duration of the cycle.
4. After the cycle, dispense and discard a few cups of water from each tap to flush the system.

5.2 Drip Tray Cleaning

The removable drip tray should be cleaned regularly to prevent water overflow and maintain hygiene.

1. Gently pull the drip tray forward to remove it from the unit.
2. Empty any collected water.
3. Wash the drip tray with mild soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly.
4. Dry completely before reinserting into the dispenser.

5.3 Exterior Cleaning

Wipe the exterior surfaces of the dispenser with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
