The Moman H4C is a motorcycle helmet headset designed to enhance your riding experience with integrated communication and recording capabilities. It features a 1080P HD camera, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, Hi-Fi stereo sound, and IPX6 waterproofing. This manual provides detailed instructions for setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and safety.

4.1 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the Moman H4C.

  1. Locate the charging interface on the headset (refer to Image 4.1).
  2. Connect the USB charging cable to the headset and a compatible USB power adapter.
  3. The charging indicator light will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes about 3 hours.

4.2 Installing the TF Card

The H4C supports TF cards up to 256GB. A 32GB card is included.

  1. Locate the TF card slot on the headset (refer to Image 4.1).
  2. Gently insert the TF card into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure correct orientation.

4.3 Mounting to Helmet

Choose a suitable location on the left side of your helmet for optimal access to controls.

  1. Attach Mounting Bracket: Use the adhesive pad or clamp mount to securely attach the bracket to the helmet shell. Ensure the surface is clean and dry before applying adhesive.
  2. Install Speakers: Position the speakers inside the helmet's ear pockets. Use the provided Velcro pads to secure them. Ensure they are aligned with your ears for clear audio.
  3. Install Microphone: For full-face helmets, use the soft wire microphone and tuck it along the helmet lining towards your mouth. For open-face or modular helmets, use the boom microphone and position it close to your mouth.
  4. Connect Headset Unit: Slide the Moman H4C unit onto the mounting bracket until it locks securely. Connect the speaker/microphone interface cable to the headset unit.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

The H4C uses Bluetooth 5.3 for stable connection to your smartphone.

  1. Ensure the H4C is powered off.
  2. Press and hold the On/Off key for approximately 5-7 seconds until the indicator light flashes red and blue alternately, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your smartphone, go to Bluetooth settings and search for "Moman H4C".
  4. Select "Moman H4C" to connect. Once paired, the indicator light will turn blue and flash slowly.

The H4C can connect to two smartphones simultaneously.

  1. Pair the first smartphone as described in Section 5.2.
  2. After the first phone is connected, put the H4C back into pairing mode (usually by pressing the On/Off button again for a few seconds until it flashes red/blue).
  3. Pair the second smartphone.
  4. Both phones should now be connected, allowing for simultaneous navigation, calls, and music (though only one audio source can be active at a time).
