1. Safety Information

Before operating your iScooter iX3 Electric Scooter, please read and understand all safety instructions. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or damage to the scooter.

  • Always wear a helmet and appropriate safety gear (knee pads, elbow pads) when riding.
  • Familiarize yourself with local laws and regulations regarding electric scooter use.
  • Do not allow children under 16 years of age to operate the scooter.
  • The maximum weight limit for this scooter is 264 lbs (120 kg). Do not exceed this limit.
  • Avoid riding in wet conditions, heavy rain, or on slippery surfaces. The scooter has an IPX4 water resistance rating, meaning it is resistant to splashing water from any direction, but it is not waterproof.
  • Maintain a safe speed and always be aware of your surroundings.
  • Perform a pre-ride check before each use, including brakes, tires, and battery level.

3. Setup

3.1 Unfolding the Scooter

  1. Carefully remove the scooter from its packaging.
  2. Place the scooter on a flat surface.
  3. Release the folding latch mechanism located at the base of the handlebar stem.
  4. Lift the handlebar stem until it locks into the upright position. Ensure the safety pin is securely inserted.
  5. Adjust the handlebar height to your preference and secure the quick-release clamp.

3.2 Initial Charging

For optimal battery life, fully charge the scooter before its first use. The charging port is located on the side of the deck.

  • Connect the charger to the scooter's charging port.
  • Plug the charger into a power outlet.
  • The indicator light on the charger will turn red during charging and green when fully charged.
  • Charging typically takes 6-8 hours.

3.3 App Connection

The iScooter iX3 can be connected to a smartphone app for additional features and control.

  1. Scan the QR code in the manual or search for the 'MINIROBOT' app in your device's app store.
  2. Download and install the app.
  3. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone and the scooter is powered on.
  4. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to pair with your iX3 scooter.

4. Operation

4.1 Powering On/Off and Display

  • To power on, press and hold the power button on the handlebar. The color LCD panel will illuminate.
  • The display shows speed, gear, battery level, and system alerts.
  • To power off, press and hold the power button again.

4.2 Riding Modes

The iX3 features three riding modes, adjustable via the control panel or app:

  • ECO Mode (10 MPH): For energy saving and slower speeds.
  • STD Mode (18 MPH): Standard mode for balanced speed and range.
  • TURBO Mode (28 MPH): High-performance mode for maximum speed.

4.3 Acceleration and Braking

  • To accelerate, gently press the thumb throttle on the right handlebar.
  • The scooter is equipped with front and rear disc brakes, along with a hidden electronic brake. To brake, gently squeeze the brake levers on the handlebars.

4.4 Lighting System

The scooter features a comprehensive lighting system for enhanced visibility and safety.

  • Headlight: Press the headlight switch button to turn on/off.
  • Turn Signals: Use the dedicated buttons on the handlebar to activate left or right turn signals.
  • Ambient Lights: Side ambient lights improve visibility.
  • Rear Tail Light: Illuminates when braking and for general visibility.

4.5 Cruise Control

Activate cruise control via the app or control panel to maintain a constant speed. To deactivate, gently press the brake lever.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Battery Care

  • Always use the original charger provided.
  • Do not overcharge or completely drain the battery.
  • If storing the scooter for an extended period, charge the battery to 50-70% and recharge every 30-60 days.
  • Avoid exposing the battery to extreme temperatures.

5.2 Tire Maintenance

The iX3 features 10-inch off-road pneumatic tires.

  • Regularly check tire pressure and inflate to the recommended PSI (refer to tire sidewall for details).
  • Inspect tires for wear, punctures, or damage before each ride.

5.3 Brake System

  • Check brake functionality before each ride. Ensure levers engage smoothly and brakes respond effectively.
  • If brakes feel loose or unresponsive, have them inspected and adjusted by a qualified technician.

5.4 Cleaning and Storage

  • Clean the scooter with a damp cloth. Do not use high-pressure water or corrosive cleaning agents.
  • Store the scooter in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
