1. Take out a new filter cartridge from its packaging.
2. Soak the filter in a clean bowl of water for 5 minutes. This helps to remove any carbon dust and ensures optimal filtration.
3. Rinse the soaked filter under running water for 30 seconds.

Installing the Filter into the Fountain

1. Open the lid of the filter cartridge upwards.
2. Place the prepared filter element into the filter tray concavity.
3. Close the lid securely.
4. Fill the water tank with clean drinking water, ensuring not to exceed the maximum water level indicated.
5. Place the top cover back onto the water tank.
6. Place the stainless steel tray on top of the fountain.
7. Connect the power adapter to a power outlet.
