5. Setup

7. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your bug zapper.

  1. Unplug First: ALWAYS unplug the device from the power outlet before cleaning.
  2. Discharge Grid: Wait at least one minute after unplugging for the high-voltage grid to fully discharge. For added safety, you may use an insulated screwdriver to touch the internal grid to ensure it is fully discharged before proceeding.
