6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Monitor

To clean the monitor screen, gently wipe it with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a non-abrasive screen cleaner. Avoid using alcohol, ammonia, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the screen surface.

For the monitor casing, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not spray cleaning solutions directly onto the monitor.

6.2 Storage

If storing the monitor for an extended period, disconnect all cables and store it in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging to protect it from dust and physical damage.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your monitor, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • No Power:
    • Ensure the power cable is securely connected to the monitor and the power outlet.
    • Verify the power outlet is functioning by plugging in another device.
    • Check the power adapter for any visible damage.
  • No Signal:
    • Confirm that the video cable (HDMI, DP, or USB-C) is securely connected to both the monitor and your source device.
    • Ensure the correct input source is selected in the monitor's OSD menu.
    • Try a different video cable or port on both the monitor and the source device.
    • Verify that your source device is powered on and outputting a signal.
  • Image Flickering or Distortion:
    • Check the video cable connections.
    • Adjust the refresh rate settings on your computer.
    • Disable Adaptive-Sync in the OSD menu to see if the issue persists.
    • Update your graphics card drivers.
  • Dead Pixels or Bright Spots:
    • While rare, a small number of non-functioning pixels is common in LCD/LED technology and typically not considered a defect. Refer to the warranty policy for specific pixel defect criteria.
  • Sound Issues:
    • Ensure the monitor's volume is not muted or set too low in the OSD menu.
    • Check the audio output settings on your computer.
    • If using external speakers/headphones, ensure they are properly connected to the audio out port.

If the problem persists after trying these steps, please contact customer support.
