3. Features
- 6 MOA Dot: A 6-MOA dot provides quick target acquisition and enhanced visibility, particularly useful in dynamic situations. This larger dot size aids in consistent presentation and target alignment.
- Side-Loading Battery: The battery compartment is designed for effortless battery replacement without requiring the removal of the optic from its mount, preserving zero.
- RMSc Footprint: The Osight K is designed to fit directly onto RMSc cut slides, ensuring broad compatibility and seamless integration with many popular firearm platforms.
- Motion Activation Technology: A built-in motion sensor activates the optic upon the slightest movement. After 3 minutes of inactivity, the optic automatically powers down to conserve battery life.
- Low Power Indication: If the battery voltage drops below 2.2V, the reticle will quickly triple-flash once per minute, signaling that an imminent battery replacement is recommended.
- Optical Quality: Engineered with premium optical glass and advanced multilayer coatings, the Osight K delivers maximum light transmission, reduced glare, and enhanced durability, while also improving power efficiency.
- Brightness Settings: Offers 8 daylight and 2 night vision brightness settings for versatility in various lighting conditions.

4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the side-loading battery compartment on the right side of the optic.
- Using the included adjustment tool or a small flathead screwdriver, carefully unscrew the battery compartment cover.
- If a battery is pre-installed, remove the plastic insulator film to activate it. If installing a new battery (CR1632, not explicitly stated but common for this type of optic), ensure the positive (+) side faces outwards.
- Replace the battery compartment cover and tighten it securely to ensure a waterproof seal. Do not overtighten.

4.2 Mounting the Optic
The Osight K is designed for direct mounting to RMSc/K footprint slides. Refer to the compatibility table in Section 7 for specific firearm models and recommended screws.
- Ensure the firearm is unloaded and safe before proceeding.
- Align the Osight K with the RMSc/K cut on your slide.
- Select the appropriate mounting screws from the included hardware kit. The screws are pre-threaded with thread locker.
- Insert and hand-tighten the screws. Then, use a torque wrench (not included) to tighten the screws to the manufacturer's recommended specifications for your slide. Overtightening can damage the optic or slide.

4.3 Zeroing the Optic
Zeroing is the process of aligning the red dot with the point of impact of your firearm. This should be done at a safe shooting range.
- Mount the optic securely to your firearm.
- Using the included adjustment tool, locate the windage (left/right) and elevation (up/down) adjustment screws, typically found on the side and top of the optic.
- Fire a group of shots at a target from a known distance (e.g., 10-25 yards).
- Observe the point of impact relative to your aim point.
- Adjust the windage and elevation screws as needed. Typically, turning the screw in the direction you want the point of impact to move will adjust the dot accordingly. Consult the 'READ ME' card for specific adjustment increments.
- Repeat firing and adjusting until the point of impact matches your aim point.
5. Operation
5.1 Power On/Off and Motion Activation
The Osight K features motion activation. When the optic detects movement, it will automatically power on. If no motion is detected for approximately 3 minutes, the optic will enter a sleep mode to conserve battery. Any subsequent movement will instantly reactivate the dot.

5.2 Brightness Adjustment
The Osight K offers 10 brightness settings: 8 for daylight conditions and 2 for night vision compatibility.
- To increase brightness, press the '+' button located on the side of the optic.
- To decrease brightness, press the '-' button located on the side of the optic.

5.3 Low Battery Indication
When the battery voltage drops below 2.2V, the red dot reticle will flash three times rapidly, once per minute. This serves as a warning to replace the battery soon.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
To maintain optimal performance and clarity, regularly clean the lenses and exterior of your Osight K Red Dot Sight.
- Use the provided cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the lenses. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- For stubborn smudges, a small amount of lens cleaning solution designed for optics can be applied to the cloth, not directly to the lens.
- Clean the exterior housing with a damp cloth.
6.2 Battery Replacement
Replace the battery when the low power indication appears. Refer to Section 4.1 for detailed battery installation instructions.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Red dot not visible or dim | Low battery; Battery insulator not removed; Brightness setting too low; Optic in sleep mode. | Replace battery (Section 4.1); Remove plastic insulator; Increase brightness (Section 5.2); Move the optic to activate motion sensor (Section 5.1). |
| Motion activation (shake awake) not working | Low battery; Optic malfunction. | Replace battery (Section 4.1). If the issue persists after battery replacement, contact customer support. |
| Inaccurate point of impact | Optic not zeroed; Optic loose on mount. | Zero the optic (Section 4.3); Ensure mounting screws are tightened to specifications (Section 4.2). |
| Dot appears distorted or blurry | Dirty lens; Astigmatism (user's eye condition). | Clean the lens (Section 6.1). If the issue persists, consult an optometrist as this can be an effect of astigmatism. |
