Product Overview

The Narcissus Portable Electric Espresso Machine CM-2599 is a versatile 2-in-1 device designed for on-the-go espresso preparation. It supports both ground coffee powder (up to 12g) and Nespresso Original capsules, offering flexibility for various preferences. Featuring an 86.6-watt heating element and a 7800mAh built-in battery, it provides rapid brewing capabilities, making it ideal for travel and outdoor use.

Setup

1. Charging the Device

Before initial use, fully charge the espresso machine. Use only the included 15-watt quick charger and USB-C cable. The power indicator lights will turn on when charging, reaching 90% in approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes for a full charge.

2. Preparing Coffee (2-in-1 Functionality)

The machine supports both ground coffee and Nespresso Original capsules.

  • For Ground Coffee: Fill the coffee powder chamber with up to 12g of ground coffee. Secure the lid.
  • For Nespresso Original Capsules: Place a Nespresso Original capsule into the designated adapter. Secure the lid.

3. Assembling the Machine

  1. Fill the espresso container with ground coffee powder or a coffee capsule and assemble the appropriate part.

  3. Screw the espresso container onto the main unit and place it on the included cup.

  5. Add water to the water tank (max 80ml) and close the cover.

Operating Instructions

1. Brewing Espresso

  1. After preparing the coffee and water as described in the Setup section, click the power button on the machine.

  3. The machine will automatically heat the water to 195°F (90.5°C) and then begin brewing.
  4. If using cold water, brewing takes approximately 6 minutes. If using hot water, brewing can be completed in about 50 seconds.

  6. Once brewing is complete, your espresso will be dispensed into the cup.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: The machine is not dishwasher safe. Clean all removable parts with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth.
  • Gas Release: After each brew, it is necessary to open the coffee powder chamber to release gas pressure. Failure to do so may block the machine's ability to pump water for subsequent brews.

Troubleshooting

  • Machine not turning on: Ensure the machine is fully charged. The machine cannot be turned on while charging.
  • Water not pumping: Check if the coffee powder chamber was opened to release gas pressure after the previous brew. Accumulated gas can prevent water pumping.
  • Capsule compatibility: This machine is only compatible with Nespresso Original capsules. Other capsule types may not work correctly.
