The dbsono DB A54 speaker features a compact design with a single control button and a light ring at its base.

4. Setup

4.1. Charging the Speaker

1. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the speaker's charging port.
2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port).
3. The indicator light will show charging status. Once fully charged, the light will change or turn off.

4.2. Power On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the power button located on the underside of the speaker until you hear an audible prompt and the light ring illuminates.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the power button until you hear an audible prompt and the light ring turns off.

4.3. Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in pairing mode (the light ring may flash).
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "DB A54" from the list of devices.
4. Once paired, you will hear a confirmation sound, and the light ring will indicate a successful connection.
5. The speaker will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when powered on, if the device's Bluetooth is active and within range.

4.4. TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Pairing

To achieve immersive stereo sound, you can pair two DB A54 speakers together:

1. Ensure both DB A54 speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), double-press the power button. It will enter TWS pairing mode.
3. The two speakers will automatically search for and connect to each other. You will hear a confirmation sound once TWS pairing is successful.
4. Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 4.3. Both speakers will play audio in stereo.

4.5. Phone Stand Function & Magnetic Attachment

The speaker can function as a phone stand and attaches magnetically.

• The speaker has a built-in magnet that allows it to attach directly to compatible metal surfaces, such as refrigerators, ovens, or MagSafe-enabled phones.
• For non-MagSafe phones or other devices, use the included metal rings. Peel off the adhesive backing and attach a metal ring to the back of your phone or desired surface. The speaker can then magnetically attach to this ring.

5. Operation

5.1. Audio Playback

Once connected via Bluetooth, audio from your device will play through the speaker. Control volume and track selection directly from your connected device.

5.2. Light Modes

The speaker features a light ring with multiple color modes:

• Changing Modes: Short press the power button (after the speaker is on) to cycle through the available light modes.
• There are 9 different colorful light modes to choose from.

6.1. Cleaning

It is suitable for use in environments where it might encounter light rain, sweat, or splashes (e.g., kitchen, outdoor activities). Do not submerge the speaker in water. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed to maintain water resistance.

7. Troubleshooting

• No Power: Ensure the speaker is fully charged. Connect it to a power source and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on again.
• Cannot Pair via Bluetooth:
  • Ensure the speaker is in pairing mode (light ring flashing).
  • Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and it is within range (typically 10 meters).
  • Forget the speaker from your device's Bluetooth list and attempt to pair again.
  • If attempting TWS pairing, ensure both speakers are not connected to any other device before initiating TWS pairing.
• No Sound:
  • Check the volume levels on both the speaker and your connected device.
  • Ensure the speaker is successfully paired and connected to your device.
  • Try playing audio from a different application or source on your device.
• Lights Not Working: Short press the power button to cycle through light modes. If the issue persists, power cycle the speaker.
