5. Setup Guide
5.1 Placement
Place the incubator on a stable, level surface in a room with a consistent ambient temperature (ideally between 68°F-104°F or 20°C-40°C). Avoid areas with direct sunlight, drafts, or significant temperature fluctuations. If ambient temperature is below 68°F, consider adding foam insulation for better warmth.
5.2 Water Filling System
The incubator uses an external water filling system to maintain humidity. Fill the provided water bottles with distilled or demineralized water. During the first 18 days of incubation, use Port A to fill the water channel. For the last 4 days (lockdown period), use both Port A and Port B to increase humidity.

5.3 Egg Placement
Arrange the adjustable dividers to fit your eggs. Place the eggs gently into the designated slots. The incubator can hold:
- 24 Chicken Eggs
- 18 Duck Eggs
- 8 Goose Eggs
- 48 Quail Eggs
- 48 Pigeon Eggs

5.4 Power Connection
Connect the power adapter to the incubator and then plug it into a suitable electrical outlet. The digital display will illuminate.
6. Operation
6.1 Initial Settings & Monitoring
Upon powering on, the incubator will display the current temperature and humidity. The default temperature is set to 100°F (37.8°C) and humidity to 55-65%. These settings are generally suitable for most poultry eggs. The incubator will automatically begin regulating these conditions.

6.2 Temperature and Airflow
The incubator utilizes a 360° airflow system to ensure uniform temperature distribution, eliminating hot and cold spots. The PID technology maintains the set temperature with high precision.

Image: Diagram illustrating the temperature-controlled airflow within the incubator, showing streamlined fan flow and distribution of warm and cold air to maintain an adjustable temperature range of 68°F-104°F.
6.3 Automatic Egg Turning
The automatic egg turning mechanism will activate at preset intervals (60/120/180 minutes). This process is crucial for embryo development. The turning will automatically cease 3-4 days before the expected hatch date to allow the chicks to position themselves for hatching.
6.4 Using the Integrated Egg Candler
The built-in LED egg candler allows you to observe the embryo's development without disturbing the incubation process. Simply press the candler button (refer to the control panel diagram in the quick start guide) and place an egg over the light to view its contents. This is typically done on days 5-7, 8-14, and 15-18 to check viability.

6.5 Incubation Schedule Overview
Typical incubation periods vary by species:
- Chicken Eggs: Approximately 21 days
- Duck Eggs: Approximately 28 days (Muscovy ducks 35 days)
- Quail Eggs: Approximately 17-18 days
- Goose Eggs: Approximately 28-32 days
Always refer to specific guidelines for the type of eggs you are incubating.
7. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning is essential to prevent bacterial growth and ensure optimal hatching conditions for future use.
7.1 Cleaning Instructions
- Unplug: Always unplug the incubator from the power source before cleaning.
- Disassemble: The incubator features detachable components, including the egg trays and water channels, for easy cleaning.
- Washable Parts: Wash removable parts with mild soap and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and allow them to air dry completely before reassembly.
- Wipe Down: Wipe the interior and exterior surfaces of the incubator with a damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
- Sanitize: For thorough sanitation, you may use a diluted disinfectant solution on all surfaces, ensuring it is safe for plastics and electronics, and rinse well.

8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Temperature fluctuations / Not holding steady temp | Incubator placed in a drafty area; ambient temperature too low or unstable; sensor issue. | Relocate incubator to a stable environment. Ensure room temperature is consistent. Check for error codes on display. If ambient temperature is low, add insulation. |
| Humidity too low | Insufficient water in channels; water ports not used correctly; dry ambient air. | Ensure water bottles are full and correctly inserted. Use both Port A and B during lockdown. Consider placing a small, shallow dish of water near the incubator (outside) if ambient air is very dry. |
| Eggs not turning | Egg turning mechanism disabled; power interruption; eggs improperly placed. | Check if the automatic turning function is active (it stops 3-4 days before hatch). Ensure power is stable. Verify eggs are correctly seated in dividers. |
| Audible alerts (Temp/Humidity) | Temperature or humidity outside set parameters; low water level. | Check display for specific alert. Adjust water levels as needed. Verify incubator placement and ambient conditions. |
| Poor hatch rates | Incorrect temperature/humidity; infertile eggs; improper egg handling; turning issues. | Review temperature and humidity settings. Ensure eggs are fertile and handled correctly before incubation. Verify egg turning is functioning. |
