Product Overview

The Godox iT22 S Mini Flash is a compact and versatile hot shoe flash designed for Sony cameras. It features Smart TTL metering for stable and natural fill light, suitable for both portrait and product photography. Its ultra-compact design and lightweight construction make it highly portable.

The flash offers one-touch switching between Manual (M) and TTL modes, along with a high-definition display for clear parameter control. It provides over 700 flashes per charge with a rapid 1.5-second recycle time at full power, ensuring uninterrupted shooting sessions. The built-in lithium battery supports USB-C fast charging.

For creative lighting, the iT22 S includes a magnetic accessory system, allowing for quick attachment of diffusers, color filters (CTO/CTB), creative gels, and honeycomb grids. Flash output can be precisely controlled across 6 stops (1/32 to 1/1 power) with 1/3-stop fine-tuning.

Installation

To install the Godox iT22 S Mini Flash onto your Sony camera, press and hold the release button on the flash unit. While holding the button, carefully slide the camera hot shoe connector into the camera's hot shoe mount until it clicks securely into place.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

To power on the flash, long-press the power key (usually marked 'M' or with a power symbol). To enter sleep mode or power off, long-press the 'M' button again. The unit will auto-off after 8 hours of inactivity.

Manual Flash Mode (M)

In Manual mode, you can adjust the flash power from 1/32 to 1/1. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to increase or decrease the flash output in 0.3-stop increments. A long press on these buttons allows for quicker adjustments.

TTL Auto Flash Mode

Press the 'M' button to switch to TTL mode. In TTL mode, the flash automatically adjusts its output based on the camera's metering. You can adjust the Flash Exposure Compensation (FEC) value among ±3 stops with 1/3-stop increments using the '+' and '-' buttons. Long-press for quick adjustment.

Charging the Battery

The Godox iT22 S Mini Flash is equipped with a built-in lithium battery. To charge the battery, use the provided USB-C cable to connect the flash unit to a power source or a portable power bank. The display will indicate the charging status.
