Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your SAMOLLA Smart Digital Baitcaster Reel.

  • Cleaning: After each use, especially in saltwater, rinse the reel thoroughly with fresh water. Do not submerge the entire reel. Wipe it dry with a soft cloth.
  • Lubrication: Periodically apply a small amount of reel oil to moving parts and grease to gears as recommended by general fishing reel maintenance practices. Avoid over-lubrication.
  • Storage: Store the reel in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: Ensure the USB Type-C port is sealed with its waterproof plug when not charging. The integrated solar panel helps maintain battery charge.
  • Inspection: Regularly inspect the line, spool, and all moving parts for any signs of wear or damage. Replace worn components as needed.
