Recessed and Wall Mounted Electric Fireplace with Remote Control

1. Safety Information

Please read and understand this entire owner's manual, including all safety information, before plugging in or using this product. Failure to do so could result in electric shock, fire, serious injury, or death.

  • This electric fireplace is ETL certified, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Always plug the fireplace directly into a grounded 120V, 15 Amp circuit. Do not use with an extension cord or power strip.
  • Do not operate the fireplace if the cord or plug is damaged, or if the heater malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
  • Keep combustible materials such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the fireplace and away from the sides and rear.
  • The fireplace features built-in overheating protection. If the heater overheats, it will automatically shut off. Unplug the unit and allow it to cool for 10-15 minutes before restarting.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
  • Close supervision is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities.
  • The glass panel remains cool to the touch during operation, providing a safe environment for children and pets.

3. Setup & Installation

The Electactic 30-inch electric fireplace can be installed in two primary ways: recessed into a wall or surface wall-mounted. A complete installation kit with tools and step-by-step instructions is included with your purchase.

3.1 Product Dimensions

4. Operation

Your Electactic electric fireplace can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.

4.1 Powering On/Off

  • Press the power button on the control panel or remote to turn the unit on or off.
  • The flame effect will activate automatically when the unit is powered on.

4.2 Adjusting Flame Effects

Customize the visual ambiance with a variety of flame and ember bed color options.

  • Use the "Flame Color" button on the remote or control panel to cycle through 12 different flame colors.
  • Use the "Ember Bed Color" button to select from 12 glowing ember bed options.
  • Adjust the flame brightness using the dedicated brightness control, offering 5 levels.

4.3 Heater Function

The fireplace provides supplemental heating for areas up to 400 square feet. The heater and flame effects can operate independently.

  • Press the "Heater" button to activate the heating function.
  • Toggle between 750W (low heat) and 1500W (high heat) settings as needed.
  • The heater operates quietly, typically below 38 decibels.

4.4 Timer Function

The integrated timer allows you to set the fireplace to automatically shut off after a specified duration, from 30 minutes to 9 hours.

  • Press the "Timer" button on the remote control to cycle through available timer settings.
  • The display will show the selected duration before automatically turning off.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your electric fireplace. Always disconnect power before performing any maintenance.

5.1 Cleaning

  • Glass Panel: Wipe the glass panel with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or spray liquids directly onto the glass.
  • Exterior Surfaces: Dust the exterior surfaces with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Air Vents: Periodically vacuum or wipe the air inlet and outlet vents to prevent dust buildup, which can affect heating efficiency.

5.2 Storage

If storing the fireplace for an extended period, unplug it and store it in a dry, dust-free location. It is recommended to keep the original packaging for storage.

6. Troubleshooting
