Setup

1. Battery Installation and Charging

2. Antenna Attachment

3. Earpiece/Headset Connection

Operating Instructions

2. Channel and Frequency Selection

1. Press the V/M key to switch between Frequency (VFO) mode and Channel (Memory) mode.
2. In VFO mode, use the keypad to directly enter frequencies or the up/down arrow keys to scan.
3. In Channel mode, use the up/down arrow keys or the numeric keypad to select a stored channel.
4. Press the A/B key to select which of the two displayed frequencies/channels is active for transmission.

3. Bluetooth APP Programming

The Baofeng UV-5R Mini supports wireless programming via a mobile application. This allows for quick and efficient configuration of multiple radios.

4. Dual PTT Emission

The radio features two Push-to-Talk (PTT) buttons (PTT-A and PTT-B) on the side, allowing for dual standby and dual launch capabilities. This means you can monitor two different frequencies/channels simultaneously and transmit on either by pressing the corresponding PTT button.

5. NOAA Weather Warning
