3. Setup and Charging
3.1 Initial Charge
Before first use, fully charge your flashlight. The device comes with a built-in rechargeable battery.
- Locate the USB charging port on the flashlight. It is typically covered by a rubber flap for water resistance.
- Open the rubber flap and connect the provided USB charging cable to the flashlight.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a power source such as a power bank, wall adapter, or laptop USB port.
- The power indicator lights will illuminate during charging. A full charge typically takes 3-4 hours.
- Once fully charged, all indicator lights will be solid. Disconnect the cable and securely close the rubber flap to maintain water resistance.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off and Main Light Modes
Press the power button to cycle through the main light modes:
- First Press: High brightness
- Second Press: Medium brightness
- Third Press: Strobe mode
- Fourth Press: Turn off
To turn off the flashlight from any main light mode, press and hold the power button for approximately 2 seconds.
4.2 COB Side Light Modes
To activate the COB side light modes, quickly press the power button twice from any state (on or off). Once in COB mode, press the power button to cycle through the following modes:
- First Double Press: COB High brightness
- Second Press (after COB High): COB Medium brightness
- Third Press (after COB Medium): COB Red light
- Fourth Press (after COB Red): COB Red Strobe
- Fifth Press (after COB Red Strobe): Turn off
To turn off the flashlight from any COB light mode, press and hold the power button for approximately 2 seconds.

4.3 Power Display
The flashlight features a power indicator display, typically consisting of blue LED lights, to show the remaining battery charge. Each light represents a percentage of the battery capacity (e.g., 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%).

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
- Wipe the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish.
- Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed after cleaning or charging to maintain water resistance.
5.2 Storage
- Store the flashlight in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- For long-term storage, charge the battery every 3-6 months to prolong its lifespan.
5.3 Water Resistance (IPX7)
The SKNSL M005 flashlight is rated IPX7, meaning it can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. While it is waterproof, it is not designed for prolonged underwater use. Always ensure the charging port cover is sealed tightly before exposing the flashlight to water.

6. Troubleshooting
