3.1. Components

4. Setup

4.1. Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker using the provided Type-C power cable. Connect the cable to the charging port on the rear of the speaker and a compatible USB power source. The LED indicator will show charging status.

4.2. Bluetooth Pairing

1. Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds to turn on the speaker. A blue LED will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "DB GO MAX" from the list of devices.
4. Once connected, you will hear an audible confirmation, and the blue LED will stop flashing and remain solid.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Basic Playback

• Play/Pause: Short press the Play/Pause button.
• Volume Up/Down: Short press the Volume + or Volume - buttons.
• Next/Previous Track: Long press the Volume + for next track, or Volume - for previous track.

5.2. Lightshow Modes

The speaker features dynamic RGB lights that pulse with your music. Short press the Light Mode button to cycle through different light patterns or turn the lights off.

5.3. True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing

For an immersive stereo experience, you can pair two dbsono N8A speakers together.

1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), long press the Play/Pause button until you hear a pairing tone.
3. The two speakers will automatically connect to each other. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound.
4. Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in Section 4.2.

6.1. Cleaning

Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before cleaning or exposing to water.

6.2. Water Resistance

The speaker has an IPX5 water resistance rating, protecting it from splashes and light rain. It is not designed for submersion in water. Always ensure the port cover is sealed to maintain water resistance.

• Speaker won't turn on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source and try again.
• Unable to pair via Bluetooth: Make sure the speaker is in pairing mode (flashing blue LED). Check that Bluetooth is enabled on your device and that "DB GO MAX" is selected. If already paired, try disconnecting and reconnecting.
• No sound: Check the volume levels on both the speaker and your connected device. Ensure the speaker is properly paired.
• Poor sound quality: Move the speaker closer to your device to reduce interference. Ensure the speaker is fully charged.
• TWS pairing issues: Ensure both speakers are fully charged and not connected to any other device before attempting TWS pairing.
