Setup
1. Initial Charging
- Connect the USB-C charging cable to the charging port on the device.
- Plug the other end of the cable into a compatible USB power adapter (not included).
- Charge the device for approximately 4 hours before first use. A full charge provides approximately 4 weeks of use.
- The battery charge indicator will show the charging status.
2. Attaching the Tip
- Insert the desired jet tip into the center of the knob on the top of the water flosser handle until it clicks into place.
- To remove the tip, press the tip eject button and pull the tip from the handle.

3. Filling the Reservoir
- Open the flip-top cap on the reservoir.
- Fill the reservoir with lukewarm water.
- Close the flip-top cap securely. The reservoir capacity is approximately 177 ml.

Operating Instructions
1. First Use (Priming Unit)
For first-time use, or if the unit has not been used for an extended period, prime the unit:
- Fill the reservoir with warm water.
- Point the tip into the sink.
- Turn the unit ON to the highest pressure setting until water flows from the tip.
2. Daily Use
- Lean over a sink and place the tip in your mouth.
- Turn the unit ON.
- Adjust the pressure setting using the ON/OFF switch with pressure control. The WF-21 offers two pressure settings. Start with the lower setting and increase as comfortable.
- Direct the water stream at a 90-degree angle to your gumline. Move the tip along your gumline, pausing briefly between teeth.
- Continue until you have cleaned all areas of your mouth.
- Turn the unit OFF when finished.

3. Waterproof Feature (IPX-7)
The Waterpik WF-21 is designed with an IPX-7 waterproof rating, meaning it can be safely used in wet environments such as the shower. This allows for convenient use without concern for water splashes.

Maintenance
Cleaning the Unit
- After each use, empty any remaining water from the reservoir.
- Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth.
- For thorough cleaning, the reservoir can be detached and washed with mild soap and water.
- Do not immerse the main unit in water beyond its IPX-7 rating.
Tip Care
- Clean tips as needed by rinsing them under warm water.

Troubleshooting
- No Water Flow: If water does not come out after connecting the tip:
- Remove the tip.
- Pour a few drops of water into the connection point between the tip and the main unit.
- Reconnect the tip and check for water flow.
- Alternatively, fill the tank with water and shake the main unit several times to help prime the pump.
- Reduced Pressure: Ensure the reservoir is adequately filled and the tip is securely attached. Check for any blockages in the tip.
- Unit Not Turning On: Ensure the unit is fully charged. If the battery is low, connect it to the USB-C charger.
