Setup

1. Battery Installation

The alarm clock requires 3 AA/LR6 batteries (not included). To install:

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the clock.
2. Open the compartment cover.
3. Insert 3 AA/LR6 batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Initial Time Setting

To set the current time:

1. Press and hold the 'Time Set' button (usually indicated by a clock icon) on the back of the unit until the hour display flashes.
2. Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the front to adjust the hour.
3. Press the 'Time Set' button again to switch to minute adjustment.
4. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the minutes.
5. Press the 'Time Set' button one more time to confirm and exit time setting mode.

Operating Instructions

1. Nightlight Function

The Moana figure on top of the clock functions as a nightlight.

• To activate the nightlight, press down on the Moana figure.
• The nightlight will illuminate for a few minutes.
• The LCD screen can be set to remain on or off during the night. Refer to the specific settings on the back of the clock for this option.

2. Setting the Alarm

To set the alarm time and select a melody:

1. Press and hold the 'Alarm Set' button (usually indicated by a bell icon) on the back of the unit until the alarm hour display flashes.
2. Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the front to adjust the alarm hour.
3. Press the 'Alarm Set' button again to switch to alarm minute adjustment.
4. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the alarm minutes.
5. Press the 'Alarm Set' button again to cycle through the 6 available Moana-inspired ringtones and sounds.
6. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the alarm volume.
7. Press the 'Alarm Set' button one more time to confirm and activate the alarm. An alarm icon will appear on the display.

3. Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, you can activate the snooze function for a few extra minutes of sleep:

• Press down on the Moana figure or the top of the clock.
• The alarm will pause and sound again after a short interval.

4. Turning Off the Alarm

To turn off the alarm completely:

• Press the 'Alarm Off' button (often the same as the 'Alarm Set' button, or a dedicated button on the back).
• The alarm icon on the display will disappear, indicating the alarm is deactivated.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

To clean your alarm clock:

• Wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish.

2. Battery Replacement

When the low battery indicator appears on the display, replace the batteries promptly to ensure continuous operation. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the Setup section.

Troubleshooting

• Clock not displaying time: Ensure batteries are correctly installed and not depleted. Replace if necessary.
• Alarm not sounding: Verify that the alarm time is set correctly and the alarm function is activated (alarm icon visible). Check the alarm volume.
• Nightlight not working: Ensure the Moana figure is pressed firmly. Check battery level.
• Incorrect time display: Reset the time as per the 'Initial Time Setting' instructions.
