Setup

1. Unpacking and Initial Cleaning

  • Remove all packaging materials from the kettle and base.
  • Wash the interior of the kettle and the lid with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  • Wipe the exterior of the kettle and the heating base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the heating base in water.

2. Attaching the Handle

Align the detachable handle with the attachment points on the kettle body. Securely fasten the handle according to the design. Ensure it is firmly attached before use.

3. Placement

  • Place the smart heating base on a dry, flat, and stable surface, away from the edge of the counter.
  • Ensure the power cord is not dangling where it can be pulled or tripped over.
  • Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.

Operation

1. Filling the Kettle

  • Remove the lid from the kettle.
  • Fill the kettle with fresh, cold water. Do not fill below the MIN mark or above the MAX fill line (0.6 Liters).
  • Replace the lid securely.

2. Powering On and Setting Temperature

  • Place the kettle onto the smart heating base.
  • Press the power button on the base. The 1.46" full-color screen will activate.
  • Rotate the control knob to adjust the desired target temperature. The kettle offers precision temperature control within ±0.5°F.
  • Press the control knob to confirm the temperature setting and begin heating.

3. Heating and Holding Temperature

  • The kettle will begin heating the water to the set temperature. The current temperature will be displayed on the screen.
  • Once the target temperature is reached, the kettle will beep and may enter a temperature hold mode, maintaining the water at the set temperature for a period. Refer to the screen for hold status.

4. Pouring

  • Carefully lift the kettle from the base. The gooseneck spout is designed for controlled pouring, ideal for pour-over coffee and tea.
  • Pour the hot water slowly and steadily as needed.
  • Return the kettle to the base when finished.

5. Powering Off

  • The kettle will automatically shut off after a period of inactivity or if lifted from the base for an extended time.
  • To manually power off, press and hold the power button on the base.

Maintenance and Cleaning

1. Exterior Cleaning

  • Unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior of the kettle and the heating base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  • Ensure no moisture enters the electrical components of the base.

2. Interior Cleaning and Descaling

  • The kettle interior should be hand washed.
  • Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. This can affect performance.
  • To descale, fill the kettle with a solution of equal parts water and white vinegar, or use a commercial descaling agent according to its instructions.
  • Bring the solution to a boil and let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer for heavy buildup.
  • Empty the kettle and rinse thoroughly several times with fresh water to remove any residue and odor.
  • Repeat if necessary.
