Setup and Installation

1. Network Requirements

• The DAYBETTER Smart Plug requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network for connectivity. It does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi networks.
• Ensure your Wi-Fi router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz signal.

2. Physical Installation

1. Plug the DAYBETTER Smart Plug into a standard 120V wall outlet.
2. Ensure the indicator light on the smart plug begins blinking. If it does not blink, press and hold the manual control button on the side of the plug for 5 seconds until it starts blinking.

App Installation and Pairing

1. Download the DAYBETTER App: Search for "DAYBETTER" in the Apple App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play Store (for Android devices). Ensure you download the official DAYBETTER App.
2. Enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth: On your smartphone, ensure both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled.
3. Open the App and Add Device: Open the DAYBETTER App. The app should automatically detect the smart plug if its indicator light is blinking. Follow the on-screen prompts to add the device.
4. Connect to Wi-Fi: Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password when prompted.

5. Assign a name to your smart plug (e.g., "Living Room Lamp," "Fan").
6. Use voice commands such as:

4. Scheduling and Timer Functions

The DAYBETTER App allows you to create various automated tasks for your smart plug.

• Scheduled Tasks: Set specific times for your devices to turn on or off daily or on selected days of the week. For example, turn on lights at 8 AM.
• Countdown Tasks: Set a timer for a device to turn off after a specified duration. For example, turn off a humidifier after 5 hours.
• Recurring Tasks (Cyclic Timer): Program devices to cycle on and off at regular intervals. For example, a pet water feeder dispensing water for 10 minutes every 5 hours.
