1. Important Safety Instructions
Read all safety warnings, instructions, illustrations, and specifications provided with this power tool. Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury. Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
1.1 General Power Tool Safety Warnings
- Work Area Safety: Keep the work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases, or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
- Electrical Safety: Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges, and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
- Personal Safety: Always wear eye protection. Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, hearing protection, non-slip safety shoes, hard hat, and heavy-duty gloves. Stay alert, watch what you are doing, and use common sense when operating a power tool.
- Chainsaw Specific Safety: Always hold the chainsaw firmly with both hands. Ensure proper footing and balance. Do not overreach. Be aware of kickback potential. Never operate the chainsaw with one hand.
1.2 Battery Tool Use and Care
- Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
- Use power tools only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
- When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.

4. Setup
Proper setup is crucial for safe and efficient operation. Follow these steps carefully before first use.
4.1 Battery Charging and Installation
- Charge both 4000mAh batteries fully using the provided charger. The charger indicator will show when charging is complete.
- Align the battery pack with the battery slot on the chainsaw handle or the pole saw base.
- Slide the battery into place until it clicks securely. Ensure it is fully seated.
4.2 Chain and Guide Bar Installation
Refer to the 'Steps for Adjusting Chain' video for a visual guide on this process.
- Loosen the nut on the side cover using the provided wrench and remove the side cover and baffle.
- Carefully remove the existing chain and guide bar if they are installed.
- Place the chain around the guide bar, ensuring the cutting teeth are facing the correct direction (away from the motor on the top edge).
- Align the guide bar and chain assembly with the drive sprocket and the mounting studs on the chainsaw body.
- Replace the housing cover, ensuring there is no gap when the guide plate is installed.
- Install the nuts to fix the cover, but do not fully tighten them yet. A slightly loose space is required to adjust the chain tension.
Video 4.1: Steps for Adjusting Chain. This video demonstrates how to install the chain and guide bar, and how to properly adjust the chain tension for optimal performance and safety.
4.3 Adjusting Chain Tension
- Pull the chain to expose 4-5 drive links for optimal fit.
- Use the screwdriver to adjust the chain tensioning screw. Turn clockwise to tighten the chain until it is snug but can still be pulled freely around the guide bar by hand.
- Once the tension is correct, fully tighten the nuts on the side cover with the wrench.
4.4 Adding Lubricating Oil
The chainsaw features an automatic oiling system. Ensure the oil tank is filled before each use.
- Locate the oil tank cap on the chainsaw body.
- Unscrew the cap and fill the tank with approximately 20ml of appropriate chainsaw lubricating oil using the provided oil bottle.
- Securely replace the oil tank cap.

4.5 Attaching/Detaching the Telescopic Pole
- To Attach: Align the mini chainsaw module with the connector on the telescopic pole. Push firmly until it clicks into place. Engage the safety lock.
- To Detach: Disengage the safety lock and press the release button, then pull the mini chainsaw module away from the pole.
- To Extend/Retract: Loosen the adjustment switch on the pole, extend or retract to the desired length (6 to 10 feet), and then tighten the switch to secure.
5. Operating Instructions
Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety goggles, gloves, and hearing protection when operating the tool.
5.1 Starting and Stopping the Chainsaw
- Ensure the battery is installed and fully charged, and the oil tank is filled.
- To start, press and hold the safety switch, then squeeze the trigger switch.
- To stop, release the trigger switch.
5.2 Using as a Mini Chainsaw
For ground-level tasks or cutting smaller pieces of wood.
- Hold the chainsaw firmly with both hands.
- Place the guide bar against the material to be cut.
- Start the chainsaw and allow the chain to reach full speed before beginning the cut.
- Apply light, steady pressure. Let the saw do the work.

Figure 5.1: Using the Mini Chainsaw for trimming.
5.3 Using as a Pole Saw
For reaching high branches safely from the ground.
- Attach the mini chainsaw to the telescopic pole and extend it to the desired length.
- Adjust the cutting head angle for optimal reach and cutting position.
- Use the shoulder strap for better balance and reduced fatigue.
- Position the saw blade against the branch, ensuring a stable stance.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Avhrit chainsaw.
6.1 Chain Lubrication
- The automatic oiling system will lubricate the chain during operation. Regularly check the oil level in the tank and refill as needed.
- Use only recommended chainsaw bar and chain oil.
6.2 Chain Sharpening and Replacement
- A dull chain will reduce cutting efficiency and increase strain on the motor. Sharpen the chain regularly or replace it with a new one when necessary.
- Refer to the 'Steps for Adjusting Chain' video (Video 4.1) for guidance on chain removal and installation.
6.3 Cleaning and Storage
- After each use, remove the battery and clean the chainsaw and guide bar. Remove sawdust, chips, and debris from the chain, guide bar groove, and motor housing.
- Store the tool in a dry, secure place out of reach of children.
- Remove batteries from the tool during storage.
6.4 Battery Care
- Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Do not store batteries in a discharged state for extended periods. Recharge them periodically if not in use.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your chainsaw, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
