3. Getting Started (Setup)
3.1 Charging the Trimmer
- Ensure the trimmer is switched off before charging.
- Connect the USB-A charging cable to the trimmer's charging port.
- Plug the other end of the USB-A cable into a compatible USB power adapter (not supplied) or a USB port on a computer.
- The charging indicator light will show the charging status (empty, low, full, charging). A full charge provides up to 120 minutes of cordless use.
- Disconnect the charger once the battery is fully charged.
3.2 Attaching and Detaching Trimmer Heads and Combs
- To attach a trimmer head (e.g., metal trimmer, precision head, nose/ear trimmer, body shaver, wide hair trimmer), align the head with the trimmer body and press it down until it clicks into place.
- To detach a trimmer head, gently pull it upwards from the trimmer body.
- To attach a comb, slide it onto the desired trimmer head until it locks securely.
- To detach a comb, gently pull it off the trimmer head.

4. Operating Instructions
The Philips Multigroom Series 7000 is 100% waterproof, allowing for convenient wet or dry use. Always ensure the trimmer is clean and charged before use.

4.1 Trimming Your Beard
- Attach the metal trimmer blade or the precision trimmer head.
- For specific lengths, attach one of the beard combs or the premium precision comb. The premium precision comb offers 11 settings from 1 to 3 mm in 0.2 mm increments.
- Turn on the trimmer and move it against the direction of hair growth, using light pressure.
- The BeardSense Technology will automatically adjust power to maintain consistent cutting performance, even on dense beards.

4.2 Trimming Your Hair
- Attach the wide hair trimmer head.
- Select the desired hair comb (4, 9, 12, or 16 mm) and attach it to the trimmer head.
- Turn on the trimmer and move it slowly over your head, ensuring even coverage.
4.3 Grooming Your Body
- Attach the body shaver or the body trimmer head with a body comb (3 or 5 mm).
- For sensitive areas, use the dedicated body comb for intimate zones.
- Move the trimmer gently over the skin, stretching the skin with your free hand for a smoother result.
4.4 Trimming Nose and Ear Hair
- Attach the nose and ear trimmer head.
- Gently insert the trimmer into your nostril or ear canal.
- Move the trimmer in a circular motion to trim unwanted hair.
5. Cleaning and Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Trimmer
The Philips Multigroom Series 7000 is 100% waterproof, making it easy to clean under running water.
- After each use, switch off the trimmer and detach the trimmer head and comb.
- Rinse the trimmer head and comb under warm running water.
- Rinse the trimmer body under warm running water, ensuring no water enters the charging port.
- Shake off excess water and allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.
- For a more thorough cleaning, use the small cleaning brush (if included) to remove any trapped hairs from the blades.
5.2 Blade Care
The trimmer features ultra-robust self-sharpening metal blades that provide optimal precision and remain sharp as new without the need for lubrication. No oiling is required for these anti-corrosion, easy-to-clean blades.
