4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble and prepare your TOMLOV DM4W Digital Microscope for use:

Assemble the Stand:
Attach the microscope stand to the base. Ensure it is securely fastened to provide stability during observation and weighing.

Mount the Microscope:
Carefully attach the DM4W microscope unit to the adjustable holder on the stand. Ensure it is firmly in place but allows for vertical adjustment.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the Power button on the microscope unit to turn it on or off. The 4.3-inch IPS display will illuminate.

5.2 Using the Microscope Function

Place Specimen: Place the object you wish to observe on the microscope base.
Adjust Height: Use the adjustment knob on the stand to raise or lower the microscope unit until the specimen is roughly in focus on the screen.
Fine Focus: Rotate the focus wheel on the microscope lens to achieve a sharp image. The magnification ranges from 10X to 200X.
Adjust LED Lights: The built-in LED lights provide illumination. Adjust their brightness using the controls on the microscope unit to optimize visibility and reduce glare.

5.3 Using the Integrated Scale

The DM4W features a precise integrated scale for weighing small items.

Power On: Ensure the microscope is powered on.
Place Item: Gently place the item to be weighed on the designated weighing area of the microscope base.
Read Measurement: The weight will be displayed on the screen. The scale offers 0.1g accuracy and can measure in grams (g), ounces (oz), and carats (ct).

5.4 Connecting to PC/Mac

For a larger viewing experience or to record observations, connect your DM4W to a computer.

Connect USB: Use a USB cable to connect the microscope to your Windows PC or Mac.

5.5 Taking Photos and Videos

The DM4W allows you to capture images and record videos of your observations. Insert a Micro SD card (not included) into the designated slot to save your media.

Photo Capture: Press the "OK" button (or designated photo button) to take a still image.
Video Recording: Press and hold the "OK" button (or designated video button) to start/stop video recording.
