  1. Fixing Bracket Securely: Choose a suitable location on your wall. Use appropriate screws (not included) for your wall type to securely fix the mounting bracket.
  2. Mount Speaker: Attach the speaker to the bracket using the large plastic knobs supplied.
  3. Adjust Speaker Orientation: Point the speaker towards the listening area. Once the desired direction is set, tighten the knobs to secure the speaker. Slightly tilting the speakers downwards can help increase longevity and protect them from weather elements.

4.3 Wiring Instructions

Connect the active and passive speakers using the provided speaker cable. Ensure correct polarity:

  • Connect the red speaker wire to the (+) positive terminal.
  • Connect the black speaker wire to the (-) negative terminal.

Press the push-release type terminals to insert the wires. Ensure all connections are secure and wires are not loose.

Plug the power adapter into the active speaker's DC 19V3 input, then connect the adapter to a suitable power outlet. The speaker will power on automatically.

5.1 Bluetooth Pairing

The Herdio HE-802BTB speakers utilize Bluetooth 5.3 technology for a stable connection up to 65 feet (20 meters) in open areas.

  2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device.
  3. Search for available devices. The speaker will appear as "HOS802".

5.2 TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Pairing

The speakers feature TWS functionality, allowing two active speakers to pair wirelessly for a stereo sound experience. This function is activated via a button on the back of the master unit.

  1. Ensure both active speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
  2. On the back of one active speaker (which will become the master), quickly press the TWS button. The speaker will enter TWS pairing mode.
  3. The two speakers will automatically search and pair with each other. A confirmation sound will indicate successful TWS pairing.
  4. Once TWS paired, connect your Bluetooth device to the master speaker as described in Section 5.1.

Note: TWS pairing works up to 10 meters in open space and supports a maximum of 2 pairs simultaneously.
