4. Setup
Before using your SHARDOR coffee grinder for the first time, please follow these steps:
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Clean: Wash the bean hopper, hopper lid, and ground coffee container in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. The main unit should be wiped with a damp cloth.
- Assemble Hopper: Ensure the upper burr is securely in place. Align the bean hopper with the dial arrow on the main unit and press down firmly until it locks into position.
- Place Container: Slide the ground coffee container into its designated slot on the front of the grinder.
- Position: Place the grinder on a stable, flat, and dry surface.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Adjusting Grind Settings
The grinder offers 40 precise grind settings, allowing you to customize your coffee for various brewing methods. Rotate the grind setting selector to choose your desired fineness:
- Fine (1-10): Ideal for Espresso machines.
- Medium (11-20): Suitable for Drip Coffee Makers.
- Medium-Coarse (21-30): Recommended for Pour Over brewing.
- Coarse (31-40): Best for French Press.
NOTE: Adjust the grind setting only while the machine is running to avoid jamming the motor.

5.2. Setting Grind Time
The grinder features a 50-second adjustable electronic timer to precisely control the amount of coffee grounds. Rotate the timer dial to select the desired grinding duration (from 0 to 50 seconds).

5.3. Grinding Process
- Load Beans: Open the bean hopper lid and pour whole coffee beans into the hopper. Replace the lid securely.
- Select Settings: Choose your desired grind fineness using the grind setting selector and set the grinding time using the timer dial.
- Start Grinding: Press the center of the timer dial to start the grinding process. The grinder will automatically stop once the set time has elapsed.
- Collect Grounds: Remove the ground coffee container from the unit. The lid of the container has a convenient opening for pouring.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your grinder.
- Unplug: Always unplug the grinder from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Disassemble: Remove the bean hopper and its lid. Twist the upper burr counter-clockwise and lift it out.
- Clean Burrs: Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any residual coffee grounds from the upper and lower burrs.
- Clean Hopper & Container: Wash the bean hopper, hopper lid, and ground coffee container in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
- Clean Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
- Reassemble: Once all parts are dry, reassemble the grinder by reversing the disassembly steps. Ensure all parts are securely in place.
7. Troubleshooting
