This versatile appliance is designed for roasting, baking, slow cooking, and reheating, featuring a self-basting lid and a convenient buffet server function. Please read all instructions carefully before first use and retain for future reference.
Important Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:
- Read all instructions before operating the roaster oven.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs. Always use oven mitts or pot holders when handling hot materials.
- To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse the roaster base, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Contact customer service for examination, repair, or adjustment.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
- Always attach the plug to the appliance first, then plug the cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "OFF", then remove the plug from the wall outlet.
- Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit during operation.

Setup
Before first use, follow these steps:
- Unpack all components and remove any packaging materials.
- Wash the removable roasting pan, lift-out rack, buffet server compartments, and lid in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
- Wipe the exterior of the roaster base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water.
- Place the roaster on a stable, heat-resistant, and level surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper ventilation.
- Insert the clean, dry removable roasting pan into the roaster base.
- For the initial use, operate the empty roaster at 450°F for approximately 30 minutes to burn off any manufacturing oils. A slight odor or smoke may be present; this is normal. Allow the unit to cool completely before proceeding.
Operating Instructions
General Operation
- Prepare your food and place it in the removable roasting pan. If using the lift-out rack, place it in the pan first, then position the food on the rack.
- Insert the roasting pan (with food) into the roaster base.
- Cover the roaster with the self-basting lid.
- Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
- Turn the temperature control knob to the desired setting (150°F to 450°F, Defrost, or Keep Warm). The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the unit is heating.
- The indicator light will cycle on and off during operation, indicating that the roaster is maintaining the set temperature.
- When cooking is complete, turn the temperature control knob to the "OFF" position and unplug the unit from the wall outlet.

Temperature Settings
- Defrost: This setting is designed to safely thaw frozen foods. Always follow food safety guidelines for thawing.
- Keep Warm (150°F): Use this setting to maintain cooked food at a safe serving temperature without further cooking.
- Roasting/Baking (150°F - 450°F): Adjust the knob to the specific temperature required for your recipe, whether roasting meats, baking casseroles, or other dishes.

Using the Buffet Server
The included buffet server allows you to prepare and serve multiple dishes simultaneously:
- Place the removable roasting pan into the roaster base.
- Insert the 3-compartment buffet server into the roasting pan.
- Add your prepared food items to each compartment.
- Cover with the self-basting lid and set the temperature to "Keep Warm" or a low roasting temperature as required by your dishes.

Self-Basting Lid

Cleaning and Maintenance

- Removable Parts: The lid, liftable rack, removable enamel roasting pan, and buffet server compartments are dishwasher safe. For hand washing, use warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely.
- Roaster Base: Wipe the exterior of the roaster base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the roaster base in water or any other liquid.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or scouring pads on any part of the roaster, as they may scratch or damage the surfaces.
- Store the roaster in a dry place when not in use.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your roaster oven, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Problem: The roaster does not turn on.
Solution: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a functional electrical outlet. Verify that the temperature control knob is set to a temperature other than "OFF". - Problem: Food is not cooking evenly.
Solution: Ensure the lid is properly seated to maintain consistent internal temperature. Avoid frequently opening the lid during cooking, as this releases heat. Preheat the roaster to the desired temperature before adding food. - Problem: Food is sticking to the roasting pan.
Solution: Ensure the roasting pan was adequately greased or lined with parchment paper/foil before adding food. Use a non-stick cooking spray or a small amount of cooking oil.
