Troubleshooting
- No Signal/Poor Coverage: While Poclink radios have stronger signal reception than mobile phones and connect to multiple carriers, they will not work in areas with absolutely no base stations. Ensure you are within an area with some cellular coverage.
- SIM Card Not Detected: Ensure the nano SIM card is correctly inserted and the battery cover is securely closed. Refer to the Setup Guide for proper installation.
- Audio Lag/Delay: A 1-2 second delay is normal for cellular network-based communication. This is not a malfunction.
- Volume Issues: Adjust the volume using the dedicated buttons. If the volume is too loud or too quiet, cycle through the preset strengths.
- App Connection Problems: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both your radio and smartphone. Restart both devices and the app if connection issues persist.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the radio. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: Store the radio in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, especially if it will be stored for an extended period.
- Water Resistance: The device is IP54 water-resistant, meaning it is protected against dust and splashing water. Do not submerge the device in water.
