4. Maintenance

Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and safe operation of your DEEPOWER QS7 electric bike. Perform these checks periodically:

4.1 General Care

  • Cleaning: Use a damp cloth to wipe down the frame and components. Avoid high-pressure washing directly on electrical parts.
  • Storage: Store the bike in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Fasteners: Periodically check and tighten all bolts and screws, especially on the handlebars, seat post, and wheels.

4.2 Battery Care

  • Charging: Always use the original charger provided. Do not overcharge the battery.
  • Storage: If storing the bike for an extended period, charge the battery to 50-70% and recharge every 1-2 months to prevent deep discharge.
  • Temperature: Avoid charging or storing the battery in extreme hot or cold conditions.

4.3 Tires and Brakes

  • Tire Pressure: Check tire pressure before each ride. Maintain recommended PSI (usually indicated on the tire sidewall) for optimal performance and safety.
  • Brake Inspection: Regularly check brake pads for wear and ensure brake levers engage smoothly and effectively. Adjust or replace as needed.

4.4 Suspension System

The QS7 features a dual suspension system for a comfortable ride, absorbing up to 90% of shocks.
