Setup
1. Charging the Scanner
Before first use, fully charge the scanner. Place the scanner into the charging dock. Connect the USB charging cable to the dock and then to a power source (e.g., computer USB port or USB wall adapter). The indicator light on the scanner will show charging status.

2. Connecting the Scanner
The RD-1200 supports two primary connection methods: 2.4G Wireless and Bluetooth.
2.1. 2.4G Wireless Connection (via Charging Dock)
- Connect the charging dock's USB cable to your computer's USB port. The dock acts as the 2.4G wireless receiver.

Storage Mode
The RD-1200 features a storage mode that allows you to collect barcode data even when out of range of Bluetooth or 2.4G wireless connectivity. The scanner can store up to 100,000 barcodes. To activate and manage storage mode, refer to the specific barcodes in your manual.
