1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using your Tastyle K330IC Single Serve Coffee Maker. Keep this manual for future reference.

• Do not immerse the appliance, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.

• Do not use outdoors.

• Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to 'off', then remove plug from wall outlet.
• Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
• Use only cold water in the water reservoir.

3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking and Initial Cleaning

1. Remove all packaging materials and labels from the coffee maker.
2. Wash the water reservoir, capsule holder, reusable ground coffee filter, and drip tray in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
3. Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth.

3.2 Filling the Water Reservoir

1. Remove the 40oz water reservoir from the back of the coffee maker.
2. Fill the reservoir with fresh, cold water up to the 'Max' line.
3. Place the reservoir back onto the coffee maker, ensuring it is securely seated.

3.3 First Brew Cycle (Cleaning Cycle)

1. Ensure the water reservoir is filled with water.
2. Place an empty mug on the drip tray.
3. Do not insert a K-Cup or ground coffee filter.
4. Press the 'ON/OFF' button to power on the machine.
5. Select the largest brew size (24 oz) and press the 'OZ' button to start a cleaning cycle.
6. Discard the hot water. Your coffee maker is now ready for use.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Brewing with K-Cups

1. Ensure the water reservoir is filled.
2. Lift the handle to open the brew chamber.
3. Insert a K-Cup pod into the capsule holder.
4. Close the handle firmly until it clicks.
5. Place your mug on the drip tray. Adjust the drip tray height if using a travel mug.
6. Press the 'ON/OFF' button.
7. Select your desired brew size (6-24 oz) and brew style (Hot Brew, Bold, or Over Ice).
8. Press the 'OZ' button to start brewing.

4.2 Brewing with Ground Coffee

1. Ensure the water reservoir is filled.
2. Lift the handle to open the brew chamber.
3. Place the reusable ground coffee filter into the brew chamber.
4. Add your desired amount of ground coffee to the filter (do not overfill).
5. Close the handle firmly until it clicks.
6. Place your mug on the drip tray. Adjust the drip tray height if necessary.
7. Press the 'ON/OFF' button.
8. Select your desired brew size (6-24 oz) and brew style (Hot Brew or Bold).
9. Press the 'OZ' button to start brewing.

4.3 Selecting Brew Style

• Hot Brew: For a standard hot cup of coffee.
• Bold: For a stronger, more intense hot coffee flavor.
• Over Ice: Brews coffee at a higher temperature initially to ensure optimal extraction, then gradually cools to minimize ice melting. Use a 1:1 ice-to-water ratio in your mug for best results.

4.4 Adjusting Drip Tray for Travel Mugs

The coffee maker features two removable drip trays with different heights. Use the taller drip tray for smaller cups to reduce splashing, and remove it for larger travel mugs up to 7.3 inches in height.

5.1 Daily Cleaning

• After each use, remove and empty the drip tray. Wash with warm, soapy water or place in the dishwasher.
• Remove the capsule holder or reusable ground coffee filter. Discard used pods/grounds. Wash with warm, soapy water or place in the dishwasher.
• Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth.

5.2 Descaling

Over time, mineral deposits (scale) can build up in your coffee maker, affecting performance and taste. The 'DESCALE' indicator light will illuminate when descaling is recommended.

1. Fill the water reservoir with a descaling solution (e.g., white vinegar or a commercial descaling agent) according to the solution's instructions.
2. Place a large mug on the drip tray.
3. Press the 'ON/OFF' button.
4. Press and hold the 'DESCALE' button for 3 seconds to start the descaling cycle.
5. The machine will run a cycle to clean internal components.
6. Once the cycle is complete, discard the solution.
7. Rinse the water reservoir and fill with fresh water. Run 2-3 full water cycles (without coffee) to rinse out any remaining descaling solution.
