4. Setup

1. Attach Lower Pole: Insert the lower pole section into your weighted umbrella base (not included). Tighten any securing knobs on the base to hold the pole firmly.
2. Assemble Pole Sections: Carefully insert the upper pole section (with the canopy attached) into the lower pole section. Ensure the spring button clicks into place, securing the two sections.
3. Connect Solar Panel: If the solar panel is not pre-attached, follow the steps below to connect it. Ensure the plug connection is firm.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Opening and Closing the Umbrella

1. To Open: Turn the hand-crank clockwise until the canopy is fully extended and taut.
2. To Close: Turn the hand-crank counter-clockwise until the canopy is fully retracted. Secure the canopy with the sewn-in Velcro straps.

5.2. Tilting the Umbrella

The umbrella features a push-button tilt mechanism for adjustable shade.

1. To Tilt: Locate the push-button on the umbrella pole. Press the button and gently push the canopy in the desired direction to tilt it.
2. To Return to Upright: Press the push-button and gently push the canopy back to its vertical position.

6. Maintenance
