Setup and Assembly

Follow the detailed installation instructions provided in your product parcel. Assembly typically involves connecting the frame panels, installing the slats, and attaching the guardrails and door.

Operating Instructions

Mattress Placement

Place a full-size mattress directly onto the provided slats. The bed frame is designed for use without a box spring. A mattress thickness of approximately 4 inches is recommended for optimal use with the guardrails.

Using the Access Door

The bed features a small door for easy entry and exit. To open, unlatch the bolt and swing the door outwards. To close, swing the door back into position and secure the latch. The door can also be removed if desired, by detaching its hinges from the frame.

Removable Slats

The wooden slats are designed to be removable. This feature allows for flexibility in configuring the bed space, such as creating a play area if the mattress is not in use. Ensure slats are properly re-installed and secured if a mattress is to be placed on them.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the wood frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the finish.
• Inspection: Periodically check all bolts, screws, and connections to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten as necessary to maintain stability and safety.
• Wood Care: To preserve the natural wood finish, keep the bed away from direct sunlight and extreme temperature changes.

Troubleshooting

• Wobbling Frame: If the bed frame feels unstable, check all assembly connections. Ensure all bolts are fully tightened. Uneven flooring can also cause wobbling; consider placing shims under the bed legs if needed.
• Parts Not Aligning: During assembly, if parts do not align, double-check the orientation of each piece against the instruction manual diagrams. Sometimes, rotating a piece can resolve alignment issues. Do not force parts together.
• Door Issues: If the door does not open or close smoothly, check the hinges and latch for obstructions or misalignment. Ensure the screws securing the hinges are tight.
