1. Battery Installation and Charging

2. Attaching the Belt Clip and Hand Strap

• Secure the belt clip to the designated slot on the back of the radio using the provided screws.
• Attach the hand strap to the loop on the top side of the radio for added security.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off and Volume Adjustment

• To power on the radio, rotate the Power/Volume Knob (3) clockwise until you hear a click.
• To power off, rotate the knob counter-clockwise until it clicks.
• Adjust the volume by continuing to rotate the Power/Volume Knob (3) after powering on.

2. Channel Selection

• The BF-T17 has 22 FRS channels.
• Use the Up Key (10) and Down Key (6) to select your desired channel. The selected channel number will be displayed on the LED Digital Display (8).
• Ensure all radios you wish to communicate with are set to the same channel.

3. Transmitting and Receiving
